“This small-town gem is a delightful surprise! The food is absolutely fantastic, especially the build-your-own burger on a pretzel roll. I was impressed by Stephanie, who was clearly new but incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. When I asked for a recommendation, her eyes lit up as she shared three mouthwatering options. I followed her advice and opted for the burger with pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, and mushrooms, along with a side of cheese sauce for dipping. It was a flavor explosion!

“Stopped in today for $1 wing Wednesday! To my surprise they offered real sides as well. I had 6 wings with Mac and cheese and yams. The wings were amazing, sides were as well. I also enjoyed a glass of wine while I waited! Will definitely be back.
P.S they said they have throw back Thursday. The prices will be lower on that day!!“

“I had the pleasure of going to Copelands to Watch MNF (Ravens-Chargers). Copelands sits in the middle of the new downtown Manteno IL, a town that at Christmas time is right out of a hallmark movie. You enter brick street under a lighted Manteno sign arch and a short up the road is Copelands which sits directly across from the downtown park. Parking is easy. You walk in an Copelands is one of those bars that’s longer and deeper than it’s wide, which works fine as the bar is perfectly aligned lengthwise. There are a couple of rooms off the side of the main bar area for private groups. The decor is comfortable and pleasant with almost a loft style feel with a brick wall with an industrial chic sense; the bar top itself has gear designs set into it. The bartender my night was Jodi, she is sweet and cute and guys will need to be careful as most will fall in love with her by nights end. Like the bar she is a gem and deserves to be as well known as the Martin Twins were during Chicago Bears training camp in Bourbonnais years ago. I ordered a simple dish, fish and chips, and it was ready faster than I expected and was very good. The fish was simply seasoned as were the fries and was excellent. Overall the bar has a great atmosphere and the music is not too loud so you can talk and socialize. With good food and great service, it is a fantastic place to seek out for a visit. I recommend it with a five star opinion!“
