Always a great experience. We had Rick as our waiter and we just love him. He is always so pleasant and welcoming. My husband even said it's hard to find a waiter that treats you like he does. Food was amazing and the service was top notch.

This was our first time ever eating at Broadgauge. We were sat down after our reservation time, we were sat right next to the lounge, with no barrier between, we were literally apart of their conversations, and vis versa. our server did not "greet us", it was quick to what do you want to drink, these are the soups of the day. We did not get "checked" one once during our entire meal after getting our entrees, therefore, if something was wrong, or if the steak that was ordered was incorrect we had no one to address. overall the food was delicious, but not worth the price, if we are expected to tip staff off the price of the food if we are not getting the same outcome from waitstaff. will note that the gentleman that brought out the second beer was very pleasant and nice when he brought it over to our table!

Another great meal Broadgauge. Rick was great server and very delightful. Evan always takes care of my sweet tooth every time we are there. Evan is my favorite and always makes us feel like family.

The food was fantastic! A great place to go for an upscale feel in our area. The building and atmosphere were really cool. Cocktails, appetizers, meals, and dessert were all impressive and well worth the price. We came for a special night and we will be back in the future!

Great restaurant in a restored vintage building. We all ordered from the menu (no specials) and the food was well-prepared and delicious. Service was great, as always. We drive just under an hour to get there - it's worth it!

When I made our Valentine reservations there was no mention of the $95 pp meal. I assumed we could order from the menu We were confused by the menu where it said appetizers were for two. My husband and brother both had halibut that was dry. Neither cared for it at all. Otherwise everything was delicious!

First time there! Was very busy at lunchtime on a Saturday but we had rez so were seated immediately. Great servers and hostess, they were working their behinds off. We waited quite a while for our foid but understood they were slammed. Food was great and we took the 217 Special. Gigantic quantity of food--I had leftovers! Beautifully restored and so enjoyed! Only negative is it was very loud due to the nimber of folks. Will be back as we all four agreed on the lovely drive, the ambiance, the good service and good food!

Disappointed

I wish I could say the food made up for the worst service of my life, but it didn't. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional. Our waitress was non-existent. The manager took our order after 15 minutes of no service. We were not asked if we wanted beverages and when we asked for a soda, it never arrived. No one came to check to see if our meal was correct or if we needed anything. Our waitress showed up to bring the check, though. I have never stuffed a waitress, but it truly pained me to tip this time.

It was a nice environment and the service was good but it was expensive. We've been to very comparable and nice restaurants in Springfield and not spent nearly as much. We both had different cuts of steak, they were good but not great.

It is the best place. We have been prior, but this was for my wifes Birthday. The waitress was super great as well as the staff. The food is next level and the filet is one of the best anywhere. I cannot say enough about this please, we have sent many people over to try it out.

The most consistent thing is the service. No matter who is waiting on your party, they are personal and professional. For the cost of the dishes, the food should be outstanding. It is tasty but not as tasty as the steak house I ate at for lunch for 1/2 the price. The beer is fair priced but the top shelf bourbon and scotch is WAY out of line.

The Turtle Cheesecake appeared to be supplier purchased. Flavor was extra ordinary and portion was small for the $10.00 price. I guess I am old school but for that price I would have expected a little more than what was served. Other that this item the lunch was nice. Always enjoy the atmosphere of this building.

We had heard great things about Broadgauge and it didn't let us down. The service was great, our kids were not given evil eyes, and the focaccia bread was a big hit. We even had table engineer Cody address a wobbly table leg:) such a beautiful spot.

There was a light crowd at lunch on a Friday so the noise level was perfect for us to hear each other. The waitress was patient while we had a drink before we ordered. The drinks were perfection- my husband went and complimented the bartender after the meal. The clam chowder had a wonderful flavor, as did the tavern chili. The house salad and the beet salads the men ordered were a good size and very tasty. I had the Jimmy Stick's Hot Chicken sandwich. It was not that spicy but it had a little heat, a little sweet, lots of crunch, and was yummy. My husband and friend had the ham and brie panini with peach preserves. They both must have loved it because it was gone very quickly! The waitress had recommended the fries and for good reason-they were deliciously crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. I asked for ketchup and barely used it they were so good. It was a unanimously successful lunch for the four of us.
