“Great choice of 40 craft beers and ciders on tap and a well stocked bar. Most of the beers on tap were $6.00 for 12 ounces, the higher alcohol content, 8-14.6 % were $9-10 dollars for 12 ounces. Great music, friendly staff with good knowledge.“
“It's a bar. It doesn't have a ton of personality. That's not to say the staff don't, they have all been wonderful every time I go in. It has lots of outdoor seating in the summer, and it's very open inside but that's kinda all you can say about it. Pour Bros has tons of games and things to do, the Houd's Court tries to have an old English pub feel to it, etc. but quality kinda lacks that, well, quality. If you want a place to chill with friends with little to no distractions this is a great option. If you are looking for an experience that's more than just drinks, it might not be the final stop for you.“

We really enjoyed the food, and the drink service was diverse, including a good selection of beer and non alcoholic options. We enjoyed the local kombucha! “Anyone who googles places to eat in Sidney, Illinois may get one of three things. We have Casey's for pizza, the Dairy Barn for sweet treats, and the Saloon for everything in between. The staff are super attentive, make the effort to take care of the customer, and do a great job. Entertainment is always great and the food is pretty good. Prices are fair. Overall a good experience.“

“Love this place! The self-pour system cuts away the time spent waiting in line and I love being able to try different things without committing to a full glass. Plus, short pours mean my drink is always cold :)

The staff might be the best part though. The guy we had was a great story teller and was on the ball when it came to adjusting coals.“

“Been there a few times now and it’s fun and all, but every time late into the night the upper floor is completely wet. Wet is an understatement, I’m talking huge puddles of liquid, like I could swim in it. Other then that the place is fun to go to for $20 a person.“

“Order from Door Dash, food was still nice and warm even on a -3 degree day! Mac N Cheese was super tasty. Chicken fingers a bit spicey for my taste but good. Chicken Gravy had LOTS of Black Pepper (too much for my liking). Sould tame it down on the Black Pepper on the Chicken and Gravy as those condiments can be added for each persons taste.“

“Centrally located, affordable prices, decent selection of food, and everyday has a different drink special - it doesn’t get better than this for a campus bar. Don’t forget to ride the rail!
Highly recommend the fish sandwich. It’s weird to recommend seafood in central Illinois, but trust me, it is so good. Service can be a little slow when they get busy, but I can’t fault them for that. Know how to get the bartenders attention and you’ll get your drink no problem. Overall a great campus bar.“

“Well we all know Boomerangs is an awesome place in East Urbana, Boomerangs supports and hosts live music and has several shows through the week and weekend. The food is great, the staff is great, the atmosphere is great. Music, Gaming, Large Tv's for sports and pool tables and again the music is great, did I mention the music at Booms? and of course the infamous boom jams, which is the best Jams around! Boomerangs Bar & Grill for lunch, dinner, music, gaming, sports and music 😍👍🤘“

I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl, which had the options of over brown rice, romaine lettuce, or roasted root vegetables. I chose the roasted root vegetables. They were nothing more than undercooked sliced carrots! Four thin strips of chicken breast and a tiny bit of shredded cabbage on top of carrots is not a teriyaki bowl, even with sauce on the side. I would not recommend it, even if it were priced lower than $12.95.
My husband said his Italian hoagie was very good.
The atmosphere was nice and all of the staff pleasant. Maybe it's a better dinner place.“
