“The History on Wheels hosted its annual Juneteeth celebration at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. We used Mama Sarah's Kitchen for catering and the food did not disappoint! Chef Arron Sain has magical hands!! We had fried chicken, fried catfish, baked salmon, collard greens, baked macaroni & cheese and cornbread. For dessert we has cheesecake, pound cake and banana pudding. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. My mouth waters as I think about the food. So many compliments from our guests about how the food was. Truly outstanding!! Thank you Chef Arron for your amazing service and delicious food! We will be having Mama Sarah's again!“

Dietary restrictions: I have celiacs. Many places do not know what that even is. I was surprised when they tried to accommodate. I had to try it, there are no guarantees but I had no reactions either!

“It has been years since I left the military before I have ever found pancit from a good place. I stopped by here on the way home from work and tried their Pancit. Not only was it the best pancit I have had in a really long time, but the people working there were warm and inviting and answered all my questions about the food, and even helped me with remembering other dishes I had missed so much. I definitely will be going back for more great food! Thank you so much guys!!! You all rock!!!“
