It was great to talk to the owner. I enjoyed the old ag signs placed around on the walks. Great lunch stop. Highly recommend
1st visit. Nothing bad to say. Everything we had was delicious! Service was excellent. If I had to pick on them....it was a little chilly in there and a scoop of vanilla ice cream would have been a great addition to the delicious mixed berry tart!
We will definitely be back to try more!
Great service and atmosphere. Food good..maybe should get a unique tasting potato salad that's not just average.
I do recommend this restaurant.
Oh my goodness! Best ribs ever.
Waited for well over an hour for our food which was pretty mediocre and over priced. On top of that they charge you to use a debit card.
A real bummer because we love bbq but we won’t be back.
Princeton is blessed with great local businesses but imo this one needs to up their game a bit. Although the service was good the food doesn't stand out in any way. The BBQ is just fine. The fried okra seemed from frozen and had weird hard bits inside. The sweet potato fries were cooked unevenly. They serve fish but have no lemon wedges? Speaking of fish I have to be harsh here - the "beer batter" fish was so bland I'm actually impressed. There was certainly no beer in that piece of fried fish and I doubt any salt either. I would unfortunately not like to return unless they make some improvements in the seasoning of their dishes.

NOT Texas BBQ!
No smoke ring on brisket and no seasoning. It tasted ok and was tender, but not my type.

Ribs were incredibly tough. Pork tenderloin sandwich was over cooked. Not impressed.

Hands down best BBQ in the area! A Diamond in the Rough! A hidden GEM if you will! Go get yourself some great food. Service is amazing and the food is wonderful.
Vegetarian options: There is a veggie burger that I saw.
Wheelchair accessibility: Open to the side walk no lip to get over.

Food ok, not a lot of flavor for BBQ. Only one sauce option. No one from our party raved about their food. Fries burnt. Probably won’t be back unless they up their game.

$13 for a single patty bacon cheeseburger with no sides and water. The burger was nicely cooked and served on a dried out bun. Staff seems to be sorely lacking in attentiveness. Overall, they may be asking too much of the kids they have working here, or just completely lack management direction. I hate to leave a bad review, but the last several times we have been in here, the experience has been similarly disappointing if not worse. Kind of feels like they just dont care about their food or their service overall. Hope they improve. They could have a great thing going here in Princeton, where there are few other choices.
