“waited in the drive thru lane for 30 mins without anyone moving or ordering 6/12/21, we left and went around and the line was getting longer without any person taking orders. no car was st the drive thru window. I was disappointed in today, I know every one is short but the system at WAS better at culvers than any other establishment.“

“I loved my lunch and visit today!!! Best Fried Chicken I've ever had and award winning, and the atmosphere is charming. We enjoyed watching the planes, the airport brings back memories, and the people running the show are incredibly friendly. I hope to become a regular!!!“

“This place is a hidden gem! We went there with a lunch group of 17 that meet once a month. We called ahead and they had tables set up for our group. The food is so good and very reasonable. The daily specials include a drink for$9.99. You order at the counter, you get your own drink and refills, then they call your number and you pick it up from the pick up area. By the time I got my drink and sat down, they called my number. They said they are always fast because there are a lot of businesses around that come in for lunch and need to get back to work The staff is amazing! Definitely go check them out! You won't be disappointed!“

“The food was delicious!! I was very impressed. Very clean inside with a beautiful view of the river at sunset.
It seemed like what you received vs what was described on the menu might be slightly different (my dish was missing spinach), but it was so good I didn’t mind at all!! I got the Tomato & Basil Crusted Chicken Breast with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. Both were very garlicky in flavor, but I love garlic! I was blown away with how delicious this was!! The house salad was also stellar.“

“We had a great experience here! Tonight was our first night ordering from State Street and we wasn’t disappointed! The only thing I can really complain about is that they forgot the cheese sauce on a $60 order. Otherwise the food was great and ready in a timely manner! Will definitely be back soon!“

“I’ve been hospitalized with a non-life threatening condition for the past week. Today was unusually warm so I asked to be allowed to go outside and breathe some fresh air. Two nursing assistants pushed me in a wheelchair and pulled a tank of oxygen out of the lobby and I was free. We walked down Broadway to 12th street where I caught the whiff of Maid Rite in the air. We were lured by the beautiful neon blue arrow. I only had enough for a Dr. Pepper but the smell alone was enough to inspire me to get well. I love the Maid Rite!“

“We’ve not been there for six months because the last time we went the fried chicken was dipped in fish batter and was terrible. Went tonight and it was delicious and the service was great. We will be back for sure. If you haven’t been there for a while give it another try.“
