“My husband and I are on an anniversary trip from Iowa, so this was our first time to Cole's, and we had Kristy B as our waitress. She was absolutely WONDERFUL! So fun to talk to and laugh with and made our time there such an amazing experience. And the food was to die for. I had the chicken, my husband the steak. I would honestly drive the 3 hours back just for this restaurant. It was truly one of a kind all the way around. (Thanks again, Kristy, you rock!)“

“We are staying at the hotel by it and so far we have ate there both nights. We did take out so dont know much as far as dining in. But the food is very good. We had wings that were good and fried cheese wedges. But our favorite thing is the appetizer Do'jiggers its little small fried cutlets. they are so juicy and the breading is amazing. We ordered them both nights lol. We got a Caesar salad and it was very good and even came with a cheese bread stick. The staff that helped us at the bar take out area were so friendly and nice. Definitely recommend“

“Last night (1/31/26) was our first visit, and we loved it! Our family of 3 ordered 2 appetizers, entrees, and desserts, plus 3 drinks from the bar. All were cooked perfectly, hot, and superb. It’s obvious the chef is well-trained and brought his A-game to work! Gage was our waiter, and he was personable, friendly, and attentive without being over the top. We really enjoyed him! Atmosphere was wonderful, as well——quiet, gorgeous renovations, and views of the river.“

Our server was efficient and helpful.
We arrived too close to closing (1:20 pm) to get the fried chicken. She said it takes 20 minutes to cook. It's good to know they make it to order.

I had the open faced roast beef sandwich with brown gravy and potatoes. It was just what I expected. The roast was tender and delish. It comes with cole slaw and no substitutions. That's okay. The coleslaw was AMAZING! We both thought it was the best thing on the table.

My wife had eggs, a biscuit, hash browns and gravy. She could finish it all. The gravy was good. She thought the biscuit was a bit too sweet. I did not.

We would be happy to return to Logue's and we will.“

“I’ve been hospitalized with a non-life threatening condition for the past week. Today was unusually warm so I asked to be allowed to go outside and breathe some fresh air. Two nursing assistants pushed me in a wheelchair and pulled a tank of oxygen out of the lobby and I was free. We walked down Broadway to 12th street where I caught the whiff of Maid Rite in the air. We were lured by the beautiful neon blue arrow. I only had enough for a Dr. Pepper but the smell alone was enough to inspire me to get well. I love the Maid Rite!“

“Strongly recommend this restaurant!! I had the ribeye steak sandwich and it was delicious, as well as the Drake tails (curly fries with cheese and pulled pork)!! My Mom had the tenderloin (be hungry if you order or save for lunch or dinner the next day), my husband had the smoked pork steak and loved the flavor of the meat, and Dennis "PAPI" had the smoked brisket ( he had never had brisket before)! Sydney and her family gave us a fabulous end to our vacation!! We will absolutely be back!!! Back to Iowa for now!!“
