“Krazy Cakes is undeniably a top-tier spot in Quincy! From mouthwatering muffins to delightful cakes, they've truly mastered the art of baking. The Bacon Topped French Toast Muffin and the Triple Chocolate are absolute must-tries. The coffee, especially the Cinnamon Streusel, and the refreshing Wild Berry smoothie add a perfect touch to the experience.Their lunch game is on point, and the Butter Pecan Salad is a standout winner. For Buffalo Bleu enthusiasts, be prepared for a flavor-packed treat that's bound to leave a lasting impression. The overall ambiance is inviting, and the friendly staff contributes to a positive dining experience. Krazy Cakes has truly earned its spot as Quincy's best, delivering on both flavors and hospitality. This 5-star gem is a must-visit – seriously, don't miss out!“
“I have eaten fish tacos all over this country and rate the Bang Bang Bigelow as one of my favorites ?. The fried catfish was well seasoned, and smoky citrus slaw was delicious! We received one order of grilled shrimp tacos (because they sold out of the catfish!) and can’t say which we liked better. The wait was a little long but worth it. Thank you for bringing your flavorful food to Quincy!“
“Small & simple. New kitchen open & putting out good food. A bit pricey for size of portions & very limited selection of alcohol but overall good feel to the place. Probably could use extra bartender/waitress during busy times. Need highchair/boosters also.“
“I thuoughtbitvwas great for coming thru on business and grabbing a drink and sandwichI'm not sure of t g e fellows name but he was very nice and I loved my bacon ranch chicken sandwich with my side of fried mushrooms...10 out of 10....great job The Scoreboard“
“My brother and I were in town decided to eat here for lunch. I'm glad we did. We ordered the crab ragoons and Irish Dumplings for an appetizer. The peanut sauce that came with the dumplings was delicious!! I had the Reuben with the German Potato Salad!! 10/10 on Everything!! Definitely Will Be going back if we stop in town again!!“
“Loved the food, great flavors that you can taste every ingredient. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. It's not too loud and not too bright. The servers were wonderful and very attentive to every need. They answered questions and made good suggestions. We had a great experience.“
“Traveling along Quincy's main drag is an unassuming restaurant. You wouldn't think passing Dunnbelly that inside amazing food and drinks await. Everything we've ever ordered has been fabulous. This visit my visiting in-laws specifically requested we go back. Their smoked goat cheese appetizer is one of our favorites and ordered I think every time we go. My husband ordered the ribeye special and it was cooked beautifully. He got grits as a side and they were chefs kiss. The bartender made him an off the menu drink. I wish they would expand their cocktail menu because she always has such creative drinks. The restaurant is next to a chain hotel so if their parking lot is full there is plenty of near parking. I would recommend reservations, especially on the weekend.“
“Great service from our bartender, cook, waitress, and ask around good host, Mr. Mackenzie! Good tacos... The only complaint I could have is about the one person at the place that for some reason thought she could jump in my conversation(s) with my friend I came with and even more so, the convos I had with the Jack of all trades bartender and cook. I felt she was very rude and condescending. And as far as I could tell .... She was trying to get drunk and picking arguments with everyone.“
“In the old Motorola complex. Had a delicious carry-out meal of chicken piccata, twice baked mashed potatoes (interesting idea!), rolls, and salad with a tasty ranch dressing that tasted homemade. Even on a Friday it was ready in 25 minutes, well packaged and hot. Enough for 4 people.“
“This is one of the best places in quincy to experience. It's a local dive bar but it's very friendly, food and drinks are very reasonable. You will meet great people if your not shy. Our son lives and works here. We come here when we visit him from Michigan. Actually made friends with the people from this area. But the food is very good. We make it a point to stop end when we visit our son.“
“Any time i take my mother for a ride and we head to quincy ill. We have to head to maid rite. She loves that place. The food is great and the service has always been great as well. Thank you maid rite for great service and some of the best food.“
“ONLY 5 star restaurant in quincy once you step into the restaurant and experience the service, you are transported to a different city. the food quality and taste is incomparable to any other in quincy for "5 star". i've taken prom pictures, hosted parties, been on dates, and attended business meetings here and it fits all needs and requests.“
“Although the BBQ Bacon Chicken Pizza was not on the menu, the kitchen was able to still whip up this delicious pizza! It was hot and perfect! ? the right amount of BBQ, chicken, bacon and cheese! The horseshoe was also delicious. Service was friendly and did a great job at making sure we were comfortable and got everything we needed! Definitely coming back!“
“been going to the abbey for 25 years(my entire life). great service great food great atmosphere ribs, soup, chicken strips, quesadillas, FRIES, salmon, shrimp, pasta, steak, ALL abbeytizers are amazing. (i don't branch out when i eat but i always want to try new items on the menu here)“
“My Cod Sandwich had little to no tartar sauce twice in a row now, though it was still good I just am confused. Like did you guys run out? But other than that the customer service is really nice, though sometimes a little impatient, but I understand.Parking: I don't remember, maybe like 25-35 parkings spots, if I'm picturing it correctly. Not Accurate so please don't go assuming this, plus sometimes it's pretty busy since well it's in Quincy.“
“Amazing food and service. Adult beverages are really good.Parking: It was a Friday night and packed so understandably parking was a small task. We came for dinner and I was not disappointed. We had the amazing frog legs which are top of the line along with calamari. I got the steak wrap with seasoned lattice fries and I ate every bite. So yummy. We had the best server ever. I will be back.“
“O'Shea's is a great gathering place to bring your old friends or make new old friends like Rocky. He's an old, cantankerous man, that is a staple at this place. If you get the pleasure of having Rylee, try not to piss her off, or your coffee will never get refilled.“
“I heard so many advertisements on the radio for the summer brunch specials here for the weekends. I love brunch so much and decided to give it a whirl. It starts from open to 2pm. It was not busy whatsoever when we got there around noon. The staff was very friendly but they didn't have a bartender for the morning for brunch. They have mimosa flights so I was excited what I had heard and seen online. They were not what I expected but they were good enough. The staff was so friendly and they seemed to get along well together like a real team. I ordered the Country Harvest Skillet with some extra jalapeños. It came out super cute looking but it just was not flavorful enough for my liking. But it was still good. They jumbo biscuits were awesome as well. My boyfriend ordered a cheeseburger and he said it was really good. I tried his fries that came with it. They were crispy and I enjoyed the seasoning they choose. I'd like to come back for lunch or dinner at some point. Also to try their other morning cocktails.“
“This is one of our absolute favorite places to eat in Quincy! The food is always delicious and ready to pick up quickly. The staff is always friendly. We usually order enough to enjoy them fresh and have leftovers the next day. When we dine in, the service is always great.“
“I needed to reserve a private room for a large group of coworkers and the staff at Riverside were very helpful and friendly, to coordinate the room and the large group of employees. Food service was excellent and food was served quickly and hot. The waitress was very helpful and served all our needs. The restaurant has a very interesting atmosphere with homestead era motif.“
“You're going to have to search a little to find this place, because it isn't well marked (it's behind the main building on the Illinois Veterans Home campus... look for the little building with the post office box out front). It's worth looking for, though, because the food is great, everyone is friendly, and the prices are low -- $4 for a BLT and less than $5 for a Chicken Wrap. There are only a few tables inside and more outside (but still inside the main building), but I doubt this place gets too busy due to it's hidden location. Go there if you're visiting the All Wars Museum or folks at the Veterans Home, or just go there to get some good, cheap eats!“
“While at an even at the QRA, I had the chance to hit up blue haven cafe.I have always heard they had good breakfast but going to the airport to eat was never on my radar and that way a mistake.Located inside the airport and up the steps you will find BHC, a old time slightly date cafe that should ever change and it don’t look like it has.The times they were open, they had daily specials and menu items for breakfast and lunch, unsure of dinner.I did get to enjoy both options while on-site.I found the breakfast to be classic and delicious as well as the lunch options.Prices some might find slightly high, but the portions are worth it.Don’t sleep on this place as a dining options!Great little place and great food, also I was surprised how many people come just to eat that have zero airport business what so ever, it’s straight up a hidden gem“
