KATE made our evening something which is hard to find not only in Quincy but any of the many place we go. “I needed to reserve a private room for a large group of coworkers and the staff at Riverside were very helpful and friendly, to coordinate the room and the large group of employees. Food service was excellent and food was served quickly and hot. The waitress was very helpful and served all our needs. The restaurant has a very interesting atmosphere with homestead era motif.“
“Nice little place away from the busy city but close enough it's not out of the way. I had a cheeseburger with onion rings and it was delicious! The meat was fresh and well seasoned, the breading on the onion rings was smooth and crunchy, not super bready. Service was okay, they forgot the toppings on my friends sandwich but immediately brought it out. They have a pool table and darts. Well lit. No smoking. And they have amazing bloody marys“
“I have never had such good service at a Dairy Queen! The lady who helped us was so nice! I wish I would have gotten her name. We were eating with my grandma (it is hard to eat in the car with) and she wasn't rushing us out even though we got their 15 minutes before close. She was so accommodating! She said take your time and let us know when you are done. I would highly recommend this Dairy Queen. I have never had such good service at a Dairy Queen! We will definitely be back!“
“You're going to have to search a little to find this place, because it isn't well marked (it's behind the main building on the Illinois Veterans Home campus... look for the little building with the post office box out front). It's worth looking for, though, because the food is great, everyone is friendly, and the prices are low -- $4 for a BLT and less than $5 for a Chicken Wrap. There are only a few tables inside and more outside (but still inside the main building), but I doubt this place gets too busy due to it's hidden location. Go there if you're visiting the All Wars Museum or folks at the Veterans Home, or just go there to get some good, cheap eats!“
“I come to this Hardee’s all the time and Cheyenne, Whitney and Maigan are so kind and make sure the food is hot and I never have to wait more than a minute or two. This store has improved so so much and it’s always a pleasant experience! Would highly recommend!!!“
“waited in the drive thru lane for 30 mins without anyone moving or ordering 6/12/21, we left and went around and the line was getting longer without any person taking orders. no car was st the drive thru window. I was disappointed in today, I know every one is short but the system at WAS better at culvers than any other establishment.“
