“Update:I DONT NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! high turnover on staff. every month there are new bartenders. Even when they over-serve an aggressive customer who then assaults you, they will blame you. They have cameras but will believe gossip instead. Numerous people have been banned for being a victim of assault. Bartenders have been fired for being friends of the victim. Bartenders have been fired for calling in because they had to take their dog into the emergency animal hospital. The day after I was assaulted and my glasses broke, I was lectured and blamed by the OWNER for causing another OVERSERVED CUSTOMER to assault me. If you come don’t talk and leave before people are overserved! Historic General store from 1870.In 1940, it transitioned into the great American rural tavern it is today. It’s s what Texas Roadhouse was before they sold out. No better authentic Tavern food around. Many bars, taverns, roadhouses, pubs, come and go, but there is a reason BUCKHART TAVERN had lasted 154 years. Great Beer, Great Food, Great Service, and Great People!“

“What a wonderful place! 3rd Shift Kitchen is located inside and I have to say, AMAZING!! We had the sampler appetizer plate. First off, there was more food than the two of us could eat. And it was wonderful. The nachos had just enough heat and a delicious smoked flavor. The pretzel bites were great and the cheese sauce was the best I've had anywhere.
Floyd's offers a nice dining area with a beautiful open concept. And drinks could be purchased at the bar.
Highly recommend.“

“One of the only bars I go to in town anymore, from pool, karaoke, poker etc there's always something to do at some point of the week here. Patrons are great and have been coming for years but that doesn't mean new people aren't welcome in. If you're looking for a more regularly relaxed bar this is the one to check out!“

“I threw my boyfriend a surprise party here last night and they were MORE than accommodating. They set up tables, reserved us a little spot in the back and made sure we were able to throw off such a good party!! Bartender (I think her name was megan) was super nice and attentive. We had such a good time, thank you!!!“

“Was a great hall for a smaller wedding party. Very clean and has a playground for the kids. Easy access to the bar which some used. Clean handicap accessible restrooms which I appreciate due to using a wheelchair because of a broken leg. Beautiful Memorial space in in front honoring veterans.“

I have so many fond memories of my dad’s tavern. We lived locally on S. 14th street and his brother and his family lived in the house that was connected and accessible from the tavern. I’m so happy to see that it still exists and I think it’s really neat what you have done with it. I live in Washington state but come there to visit friends and family that still live there. “We very much enjoyed dining here! The staff are so friendly and the food is exceptional! I will be glad to return and eat again. We had both dessert options available, the cheesecake and brownie sundae (pictured) which were sooo good! Also, I highly recommend the horseshoe (available with different meat options) it was a hit. Everyone at my table was eating it! And the wings, mouth watering and delicious! I could go on and on but I'll stop here. Go and try it for yourself!
