“We are from out of town and was on the hunt for a bar and grill. As we were looking places up on the internet we saw Docs bar and grill. As we went looking for it we walked into Don's place because we misread the sign out front. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and told that they don't serve food but he very nicely took us outside and pointed to a few places nearby that did serve food. As we parted ways my husband and I looked at each other and exclaimed what a nice guy he was! He didn't have to show us other options but he did! He was probably the nicest guy that I've ever met! We will be back in town and will definitely be going in there for cocktails!“

“This is a good old local bar serving Bud Light on tap and bottled beer for those who like something “fancy”. Frosty is an awesome bartender who will serve you well and provide conversation if you need it. Other cocktails available too just probably not the tini type ones. Oh, and live card playing available if you like to play poker or blackjack. Players don’t bet money, but accrue points and can end up winning a cash prize if you’re a consistent top player. Also. Frosty ordered me a pizza from next store, picked it up, delivered it to me and didn’t charge me extra for the service. AND Frosty is way sexier than Chad!“
“Always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Great bunch of regulars and bar tenders. Best bar in town imo, decent pool table that'd usually open, and I win more times than I loose on the slots. I'm a cardinals fan though.....this is definitely a cubs bar.....but hey no one is perfect.“
“Khultyme is the nicest bar in Jacksonville and one of the loveliest in town. My mother always loved to go there. Great live music by fun bands and a wonderful experience, without the skeeziess many of our local drinking holes have. Special props go to the lovely owner who is an absolute peach. I can't imagine why you'd go anywhere else, locally, if you just want to come to a nice bar. Drop by:).“
“Attended my oldest daughters Wedding today. Thank you to the couple who got the place the day before so none of us would of been standing outside in 0° weather. Beautiful Wedding & precious Memories. The Wedding Party attended Mandia's Resturaunt afterwards. Was a great day.“
“Service is wonderful. The food just isn't my favorite. But a lot of people do love their food. I've only been twice so I just haven't found what I like there. I had the pork fritters this time, they were just a little too salty for me but were good otherwise. The fries aren't my favorite. Our food came out hot and fresh. Next time I'll try something else and see what happens.“
“Im not from the area it was my first time there and the atmosphere was fun, really good music, diverse group of people the only issue was getting a drink..it was almost impossible to get their attention and they seemed really aggravated and annoyed...there were 3 bartenders that I seen behind the bar and took me and my friends at least 10 minutes both times to get our drinks...other than that i had great time“
“This is the best Tavern in town! Hands down.The Food is great, and the place is family owned and operated.Everybody is friendly and in 20+ years I've never heard of the cops having to come over there (like we hear of all too much in some of the other bars in this town). It's just a great local bar.“
