Crave Kitchen & Cocktails

I’m stingy with my 5 stars but Crave really deserves it.

I made reservations at 7pm and we were seated shortly there after. The booth was very comfortable for two.

The vibe was fun and energetic. It was upscale without being pretentious.

Our server Alyssa was so very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu which I really appreciated. She recommended the sourdough focaccia and ahi poke for appetizers and they did not disappoint! For our entrees we ordered the filet. We ordered it medium but it came out medium rare but I didn’t mind. Butter soft. The Thai cod was very flavorful; the heat was perfect, not overbearing.

The cocktails were some of the best we have tasted. We ordered the bourbon drink and the psyche. Wow! No wonder the bartender won a prestigious award.

The cost for two starters, 4 cocktails and 2 entrees was rather hefty but worth the money IMHO… our celebration was perfect… so thanks, Crave!

Jess was absolutely amazing!!!!! It was one of the busiest days of the year, valentines day, and even with the restaurant being so busy we felt special and had a very little wait. We will definitely be back.

We came here for our friends 21st birthday and our server Jess was super nice and gave us no trouble when we said we only came here for overpriced drinks! she even complimented our outfits and gave us recommendations!

Omg come in for Rockford restaurant week the food, the desserts and the drinks were amazing.Our waitress was amazing.We will be back.

Amazing dining experience!! Lucky to have this gem in our local area. Not only were the food and drinks delicious and unique. But what stood out most was the experience and hospitality! Ava herself served our first drinks. She talked with us multiple times throughout our time there. Her smile and personality are one of a kind. Would recommend just based on the staff. Our waitress was also wonderful and so personable! And hearing that she had been there since they opened a year and half ago says something about the ownership! There is so much turnover in the industry normally. Well done by Angela and Ava! We will be back! And beautiful decor and atmosphere too!!

Unpretentious fine dining with crazy good food and drinks. What's not to love? I'm not a local, just passing through, but this spot is so good I'm 100% coming back tomorrow.

The best way to describe Crave is intentional. They are intentional in their choices, from ingredients to presentation.

Got their Duck Breast with the truffle risotto. Just a perfect mixture of sweet, savory and a great balance of textures.

Cocktail was solid as well. Ava deserves her accolades for sure.

Very nice small bar/restaurant, with great service. I only had a couple drinks there and didn't order any food. However, the food choices looked really good so I would definitely go back and try some of their options.

Wow, what a fantastic restaurant. The ambiance, the food, the drinks, the STAFF! The team works as a well oiled machine. I know one of the owners was recently recognized for being an excellent mixologist, and she was in such a jolly and giving spirit! Tonight, $3 from every cocktail purchased went towards a deserving cause!

Our waitress Tajee was AMAZING! I loved her! She was prompt, attentive and gave us updates as needed. I think she did a wonderful job with checking in, but also giving us space to talk. You’ll know you’re in good hands with Tajee as your waitress!

The food was fabulous as well. I went with the steak frites and I enjoyed all aspects. I loved the crisp truffle fries and the delicious garlic aioli, the steak was nice and tender, the steak was topped with a refreshing gremalota and small dressed arugula salad served on the side.

I also got the chocolate cake with a side of I believe either coffee or espresso ice cream. They were a good balance of one another and the slice of cake was huge!

Crave Kitchen & Cocktails is an excellent spot for a night out with friends, an intimate setting, a place to celebrate or even a company meal!
