“Every time I drive to Chicago, I stop at the original Denny's old restaurant. I'm not usually hungry, but it has become a tradition of mine on the long drive from Minnesota to Chicago. Everyone else enjoys stopping at Denny's to grab a bite to eat and a cup of coffee before continuing to their destination. We should all support old and cherished restaurants like Denny's.“
“This little gem, is located in a strip mall at the end. My girlfriend told me you have to get here before church lets out on Sunday, or you will be waiting a long time. We got here early. The food is phenomenal. Great motif inside, race, cars, and 50's theme. I had the Denver omelette, with American fries, and sourdough toast. Homemade biscuits and gravy are a specialty, very reasonably priced, and plenty of parking. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel welcome. Definitely stop in here if you're in the area.“
“The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures of it. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The only downfall like most breakfast places in Rockford/Loves Park area is that they close at 2 p.m. They probably would have an excellent croud if they were open in the evening.“
“I really only went there because of the Harley store. I did enjoy my food however my service was not wonderful. People were very nice. A nice gentleman greeted everyone at the door. I didn't like eating with my coat on. However it looked like everyone at the circle bar was doing the same. I saw hocks by the booths and they were being used.“
