excellent food and service. This restaurant is attached to a bakery where you can get bread and dessert. A great value. Good portion size. exceptional value.
They seemed surprised that we were going to sit and eat. The waitress was more interested in her phone then helping us, unfortunately.

El Pueblo Restaurant in Rockford is a hidden gem with incredible homemade chips and salsa. The chicken tacos dinner is simply incredible, and the vegetarian options are delightful. The prices are adorable, and the food is delicious, especially the pastor and chilaquiles verde. The roasted salsa served with the chips is refreshing and delicious. This place is kid-friendly and definitely worth the drive.
