Hai Quynh in Rockford is a hidden gem! Appetizer sampler was 🔥 — egg rolls and crab rangoons stuffed perfectly. Fresh, flavorful food in a cozy, casual spot. Definitely coming back! 🍜🥢
Portions are huge for the price. Flavor is there. They have really upgraded the inside since we first came 3 years ago. Boba is great, and definitely less sweeter than what you’d get at Pho Square in Loves Park. This is a classic spot that we return to regularly!
The crab rangoons and shrimp summer rolls were excellent—fresh and flavorful. The bun bo hue and spareribs, while tasty, were both surprisingly high in sodium; we noticed feeling quite bloated afterward. The bun bo hue also wasn’t very spicy, which is not necessarily a bad thing particularly for most Midwestern palates.
