Blues and a delicious fish fry with Martin Lang Band at the Lyran Club midtown! This was the best tasting and best value "Friday Fish Fry" I have had in a while. $15, three large pieces (I took some home for my brother), coleslaw, baked potato with butter and sour cream, and a roll, and a full bar available for those who might like a cocktail. Very casual, very welcoming folks, good Blues music! Another Blues band will perform in two weeks.
Great social club. I have a friend that is a member and on occasion he invites me for taco Tuesday. The drinks are inexpensive, including good Scotch. The place is clean, the people are friendly, the food is good and they carry THE PAPER, which is always a plus.

Parking: There is a social services office across the street that closes at 4-5pm and there are approximately 30 spaces available.Kid-friendliness: The dining room is large and plenty of room for children.Wheelchair accessibility: The dining room and bar area are 7 steps below street level but there is an elevator chair that glides down safely.
