Definitely not worth the wait! Slowest place that I've been in a long time! Took 1 hour for a small order of mediocre chicken strips! I won't be back!

Went to Harold's for gizzards and perch. The store was out of both. Ordered shrimp and fries. Shrimp were beautiful the fries on the other hand appeared old. They were dark and soggy. So disappointed being fries was the only side. Prior to going we called several times and no answer.

Food is delicious. Remember to call ahead of time so you aren’t waiting too long - fresh chicken does take a while to cook. The liver is amazing, the fried mushrooms will change your life and their fries are awesome - and I hate French fries! Overall, a very yummy place to have a great chicken dinner.

Please order ahead of time. They make it fresh every time. So if you go in you'll wait there 20 minutes. The food was great. Their lunch special is a great deal. And they are fairly priced for their food. Loved it.

The fried okra is really authentic and cooked perfectly. The chicken livers were as expected as were the gizzards. French fries no big deal. Don't know about the location though...pretty dead there. Good luck!

Harold's has never, ever given me anything but good chicken, good fish, and great service. You may have a bit of a wait sometimes but that's because your food is cooked fresh to order, and the food is just that good. I will always return when in the area.

Ordered the lunch special. A pizza puff and 2pc dark meat. It was absolutely excellent. I can't wait to go back!!

I wish I could give them Zero Star but it doesn't allow me. Very slow service. Front of the house is as bad as the back. Floor was filthy by the employee's entrance, just imagine how the back might look. No discipline, cook is playing music and singing along. Counter help busy with her phone texting or checking Facebook. My fried chicken was uncooked and partially raw. Coleslaw you get with the dinner is barely two bites. They were out of catchup.

This place is new and it was good. The chicken had a different taste to it. I liked the customer service as the lady explained all of the problems that they were having and not giving me a snow job. Her honesty was refreshing.
I never leave reviews, however I feel it is my duty to warn others of the horrible experience which is Harold's. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews before you decide to stop in and waste a half hour of your life for very poor quality food and service.

During the 25 minute wait for my order I had to listen to the employees in the back yell and argue at top volume. Not a pleasant experience. The gal up front was confused by every order. Absolutely not a good first impression.

The chicken wings and mild sauce are both excellent. There isn't any dining space in or around the restaurant, this is carry out only. So keep that in mind. Since orders are made fresh, they take about 15-20 minutes to prepare, so a good idea to order ahead.

Great Chicken! The wait was a bit long.but worth it .livers and gizzards.the wings were excelent.they offer 2 types of sauces which we loved.i would suggest you visit. But be patient til they organize. And the price is right..
