Loved the pub atmosphere and the vivacious server. The beer and wine were great. Had the soup and salad. Soup was excellent with loads of vegi's. Salad was ok after removing the slimy pieces. Salad dressing was made in house and very tasty. The bread was excellent.Husband had the hummus bowl. Lots of fresh vegetables along with pieces of warm bread. He said it was delicious. Restaurant had vegan options.

The food is just okay. The service is just ok. They sell themselves as a trendy hipster place but what they really are is just an okay bar in a great location in downtown Rockford. My wife and I went for an Ice Hogs game the same night of another concert happening downtown. Maybe it was just a bad night.

Truly enjoyed my experience here. The staff was very accommodating. The vegan options was so delicious. I love the chili so much!!! They make everything fresh and in house. They get packed on Saturday evenings so make your reservations it’s worth it. I highly recommend.

Our food was absolutely one of a kind! We were looking for simple bar food and there was nothing average about this spot! Everything is organic and made in house and I have never had ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, meat, and bun combo like this! We WILL be back! Our waiter Ethan was extremely accommodating polite and well spoken!

We really enjoyed the food here and the service was very good. The only real downside was that the menu was written on a chalkboard and it was difficult to see from where I was sitting. I went over and took a couple of quick pictures of the chalkboard so that I could go back to my seat and choose my meal and that was not even really that much of an inconvenience. I will definitely be back.
Had dinner at the Irish Rose for the first time in a long time last night. The food was as delicious as we remember. The zucchini appetizer is one of my absolute favorites. My husband’s eggplant Parmesan he said was excellent. My pork chop sandwich was huge and paired with a special salad and ripe tomatoes…it was phenomenal. Loved the special on cosmos too! I don’t know our servers name but she did a great job.
