“Friday 10/25/2024 my wife placed a carry-out order i thought it was for East State she called Riverside my work is 6 blocks from the East state the staff was very helpful and re-made my order everyone was super to me want to say thank-you very much“

“We were staying in a hotel not far from Anna's Pizza. From the outside, it looks like a fairly modest place. And it is. When I got inside, I could see it was CLEAN. That's very important to me.

The young woman who greeted me was really nice. Pleasant. Great service. I ordered a large, two-topping pizza. GOOD price. The 20-minute wait while they made the pizza worth the time!

I got back to the hotel and the pizza was DELICIOUS. Good crust. Generous toppings. Tasty sauce.

OH! And I told her we were at a hotel, and the young woman packed up some paper plates and napkins. Nice touch.“

“I consider myself a connoisseur of pizza. And lately, my son and I have been on a mission to compare and rate deep dish (Chicago style) pizzas in Rockford and the Greater Chicago area. We ordered deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza for pickup. We were not disappointed. The sauce was very fresh and sweet with tomato chunks in it. So delicious! And the price was very reasonable compared to others. Now our number 1!!! We will be back!!!“

“The second time to dine at John's and it is now our favorite restaurant in Rockford and possibly the whole world. Calamari was exquisite, best I've ever had. Seafood stuffed red snapper was phenomenal. My husband said that his pizza may very well be the best he's ever had. We are from Freeport, but we will be driving to Rockford just to eat at John's.“

“had a great experience at Olivo Garden today. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. What really made the visit special was the excellent service.

I want to give a special thanks to Grace, our server. She was very kind, patient, and professional. When I told her that I am still learning English, she took the time to explain the dishes clearly and made sure I understood everything. Her respectful attitude made the whole experience easier and more comfortable.

She was lscrambling and said she doesn’t have an order for us. We ordered it online and she found it. She gave us 3 bags. We wanted to open them to make sure everything was there. She said “ I personally bagged the order, it’s all there,” in a sarcastic tone. Okay since she’s the owner we took her word for it. Got home and we’re missing 4 items. Called her to credit the debit card and she said she couldn’t but can give us a gift card for the amount. Food was hot, quality was pretty good. But honestly I won’t ever go back. For being the owner, and a local restaurant she was not friendly and didn’t even Thank us when we left. She needs training on how to greet and thank her customers. Paninos…STEP UP YOUR GAME!“

I don’t suggest the stuffed crust because the pizza gets a bit too thin at least for my liking for the normal crust pizza is amazing.“

“We were traveling back to Ohio from Montana and were excited to find a Giordano’s open late. We called ahead and realized that they weren’t going to be open as late as Google said they were. We were going to arrive right when the dining room closed at 10. After a brief conversation on the phone, they were more than willing to take our order over the phone, and let us come inside and eat. The food was ready when we got there, the staff was very friendly and as always the food was delicious. Just a reminder for those who’ve never been, the pizza is deep dish and takes a good 30-40 minutes. But it’s worth it! We will be back next time we are in the area“

We asked for a very thin crust and while it was thin it wasn’t more so than any other thin crust. The sauce lacked flavor. It was at best bland. We asked for extra sausage & cheese. If what they gave us was extra I’d hate to see what regular cheese & sausage consisted of. The bigger letdown was the “Fresh Calamari.” This wasn’t fresh! It was straight from the freezer bag to the deep fryer. Breading was very institutional from a place like Gordon Food Service. The person that took my order over the phone and got my food for me was very nice. You get one chance to make a first impression. Gerry’s food fell far short.“

“I've been driving past this place since they opened, but only recently had a chance to eat there when a friend and I stopped in to try it. My friend had pizza and I had an Italian beef sandwich. Our server were very friendly. The Italian beef was delicious, and I had enough left over to take with me. My friend was equally pleased with the pizza. Yesterday, I decided I didn't feel the cooking after I got off work, so I pulled up the online menu and put an order in. The online process was easy to navigate, and my order was ready by the time I arrived to pick it up at the convenient drive thru. The gal who waited on me was super friendly. I ordered the "baby" pizza - 6 slices, and the toppings were very generous; cheesy garlic bread with a side of sauce (which was in a closed container and wŕapped in cellophane just to be safe against spilling) and a canoli. Everything was excellent. I will definitely be ordering again when I am too lazy to cook!“
