Jalisco & Tequila Mexican Restaurant

Was great our first time there. Celebrated my son’s 21st birthday tonight. Food and staff were amazing. They made my sons night. Will be cackling often and recommend going to anyone.

One of my favorite places to eat in Rockford!

The tacos were delicious, but the area this restaurant is in is awful and just as bad as the south side of Chicago. You look left and see a homeless person doing drugs and to the right you see one pasted out on the side walk….

food is no where near authentic very bland and not worth the price and waiters takr.long to take orders and dont check up on you until they are ready to give you your check.

Very good food and service, besides it being in Rockford the actual restaurant is clean and full of color. The queso and fresh tortilla chips are GREAT!! And the drinks are plentiful.

Amazing authentic Mexican food.

A coworker invited me to eat here. I’m always skeptical of the Authenticity of Mexican food growing up in a household full of Excellent cooks I think I know good food when I taste it :D To my surprise the food was very tasty I ordered the enchiladas Mexico made differently from the way my Mama used to make them but still had good flavor and the shredded chicken was not dry. I didn’t care too much for the flan it was okay but the Chelada with corona beer was very good as well. Overall the food is very good the customer service is top notch the restaurant itself is very clean and although in kind of a sketchy part of Rockford due to the liquor store next door it’s worth either getting take out or dining in you won’t be disappointed at this restaurant. I definitely will be back again and again.
