The only way to be disappointed by Mr. J's is to not go there.
My partner and I are currently eating our way through the menu so we've tried a fair amount of the offerings. Everything we've tried has been flavorful and tasty! The portion size is super fair for the price and I usually walk away with at least leftovers for another meal, if not two. Some of my favorites have been the Italian beef, anything with the jerk chicken, and the WINGS.

Ordered on Doordash, 2 catfish w/fries, and a Chicago hot dog, and amazing doesn't come close to describe the food!! I ordered 10min before closing time (sorry cooks), so I didn't know how it would be, but the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I cannot wait to be in the area again to get more catfish.

Excellent Food
The Chicago Dogs were to Die For. They even had RC Cola. Good portions for a good price. I had ro turn around and come back. I am so glad I did. Yum Yum.
