The roof top was great. Servers were friendly and attentive. The nachos were really good. The best thing I had. I would definitely go back for those. I had a fish taco and a pork/pineapple taco, and they were okay. My friend had the chicken taco, and really liked it. I don't want to say don't go there, because it is a cute spot right down town. I just wouldn't recommend the pork or fish taco. I think if the portions of the tacos were at least a little bigger, I might think differently. But $4 for a single SMALL taco is a lot. I did appreciate the fresh tortillas though. It would be one thing if they were amazing, but they were okay at best. For me, the nachos were definitely the saving grace. They had fried Mexican pickled veggies on top - so good! That itself should be an appetizer with the queso or some salsa. Their Verde was super good too! I still plan to go back, but probably just for the nachos.
This place use to be our go to place! You use to be able to get 3 street tacos for roughly $5 bucks! Now you get 1 street size taco for $4 bucks. The prices have gone UP extremely! Service suckssssss! Went to the roof top to eat, had to order at the bar, pay at the bar and carry your drinks to the table! Order chips and queso $8.50 for 1/3 cup queso and 15-20 chips! I dk if it’s because of covid and everyone is struggling right now, maybe lay off the “workers” behind the bar texting on their phones! 5-6 employees only 2 off their phones! Last time we will be there…
Great atmosphere, fresh ingredients, if you don't get a margarita, you're doing it wrong! The rooftop bar has a nice city view.
This place is great if you are have the appetite of a field mouse. The tacos are smaller than the palm of my hand. They did taste quite good. This should be treated as a fun drink spot with light apps, not a place you come to get dinner.
Beware, these are micro tacos...maybe 50c worth of taco for $3.50. Granted, they are fresh, they have good drinks, good atmosphere, and very good service, just be prepared to pay too much for too little. I won't go back.
YUM! My friend chose the restaurant this time around and I’m glad she did! Our waitress Sedona was the absolute sweetest and kindest. Seriously, such a nice young lady. The tacos were fresh and crispy, queso was warm and gooey, chips were crunchy, and the margarita was delicious!! I cannot wait to come back for a Taco Tuesday!!
First, staff did not wear a mask as posted on the web site.Waiter was VERY disinterested in service to us senior citizens who almost always tip at least 20% (not this time!). Waiter was very attentive to the table of single women. Don't judge a book by its cover Mr. Waiter! We watched a different waitress carefully sweep leftover fries off the ground into the public walkway as she cleaned. Food? good quality, but the quantity was miniscule. Our $10 salad looked like leftovers in the bowl and was enough to serve one person, maybe. The corn elote for $4 was about two tablespoons full as was the side order of tasteless rice and beans. We've had better dumped out of a can. One beer was $8. All in all, we'll never go back. Too bad for a local Rockford business that we'd like to support.
Too bad you require a mask. I would like to try your food but can't eat or drink anything with a mask.
4$ for one fish taco that looked like a small baked fish stick on a tortilla. Margarita wasn't great either. Menu for rooftop is small so we ended up eating inside.
Always great service and great food

Great Atmosphere,Top tear staff, and Fantastic tacos.....
Great tacos, decently priced, laid back atmosphere. Would like to see more taco options. I would go again in a heartbeat!
I'd love to give this joint 5-stars as the food was great, but everything I got had foreign hairs in it, including the drinks. The lax-attitude and uniform would be a turn on in most situations but gotta think about food safety and gross factor first.
Staff is nice until you start to ask about the price. food was really skimpy and was not good at all! paid 21.40 for a can ALE 3 little small rolled up fried tortillas and a palm size taco. Never again will I come here over priced and food nasty! ps. I came on Sunday evening.
Awesome tacos and service. Stopped on the way to Chicago from Galena and can't wait to go back.
