Best gyro ever!!!! Can’t wait to try more items!!!! 🙂

Visited them yesterday in Beloit for pulling for Hospice. We stopped twice, once for fries for our daughter, then for another order of them for us, and dessert. Delicious, good prices, and friendly service. Love how vegan friendly they are. I can't wait to get the falafel sandwich next time.

Very disappointed with the level of service provided tonight. I stopped down to the truck tonight at food truck Tuesdays at the conservatory. I’ve ordered several times from Olive Branch and always received pleasant service but not today! I ordered the Greek bowl and asked for not lettuce as I was waiting a lady from the back popped out and said “I accidentally put lettuce on your bowl, is that gonna be alright or am I gonna have to remake the whole things!?” Not only what she said was rude but her attitude was nasty. She then proceeded to keep asking was it okay and then asked me did I have an allergy!? I didn’t know I needed to have an allergy to request something off of the item IM PAYING FOR! Nor should I have to explain why I asked for it that way! She even asked me did I want the lettuce on the side but if you already made the bowl and you don’t want to remake it what were you going to scrape the lettuce off? Either way lettuce or no lettuce the lady was very rude and definitely left a bad taste in my mouth about this business! I was very pleasant about the situation and I didn’t have her remake the bowl yet she was acting like I had done something wrong when in reality she messed up the order and didn’t want to fix it! Horrible customer service!

Just had some hummus after going to a quick checkup at SSM in janesville! 10/10 best hummus! And the pita was amazing too!! Will definitely be returning.

They have a spit of gyro meat in the truck! I got a warm and delicious Gyro on a frigid day in Beloit. If you like Uncle Nicks of Rockford, you should def try Olive Branch! Can’t wait to try other items.

Shockingly Appalling Customer Service

Let me start this review by stating that I do not complain about companies. You can look at my profile to see that I love uplifting community stores and restaurants. That changes today with The Olive Branch.

Tonight my family decided that we wanted to get The Olive Branch for dinner, something we had done many times before, as we love the food. I placed my order for three different dishes and waited about 15 minutes for my order. I was given the order but was missing my falafel sandwich. I informed the woman working at the counter and was told it would be a couple of minutes. No problem! Mistakes happen and I totally get it. However, this is when things started to go downhill. My mom and I waited 30ish minutes before asking how much longer the order would be. It was busy so i understand it takes longer than normal for orders. The woman told us that it was busy and proceed to just start grabbing the items to make the sandwich. I asked if the food had even been dropped into the fryer yet. That’s when the cook moved the woman out of the way.

This man was so incredibly rude. Not only did he rudely push his coworker out of the way, he proceeded to tell my mom that they don’t start making up their mistake orders until other orders are done. This seems crazy to me. I worked different restaurant jobs while in high school and college. This is the exact opposite of what every place has drilled into its workers. If you make a mistake, that takes precedent. At this point I told him that I would like a refund as we had waited about 50 minutes and had people waiting on now soggy food. The man was rolling his eyes, being condescending, and huffing the entire interaction. He also did not acknowledge that he was refunding the food, just came back and said a refund was put through. No receipt was offered. If a sincere apology was offered, I wouldn’t be writing this review, but that did not happen.

While The Olive Branch serves great food, the service was so abysmal that I will never return and will tell anyone that will listen to be cautious about going to this restaurant.

Chicken skewers and rice at the Rockton Market had no flavor and were dry. Waited over 20 minutes for order and not because they were busy. They apparently were waiting on the rice to finish cooking. When I asked if missed my order being called, the male staff member was rude and unapologetic for the wait. Last time I will be giving them any of my money.

Great food, will definitely go again.

The food was outstanding. I didn’t expect this from a food truck loved it. I had it at Lake Carroll.

Our options are limited within walking distance downtown.. so we are so happy to have such a great option for lunch on Thursdays. Fantastic Food!! Love The Olive Branch Truck!!!
