Easily one of the best places for good food and coffee in Rockford. I always feel welcomed here and the hot cocoa is amazing. I also highly recommend the avocado toast!

Omg this place was so good a little pricy but definitely worth it. The workers were super sweet and even for it being January the fruit was super fresh.

This wired café exceeded our expectations. The food tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the coffee was just as impressive—bold, smooth, and expertly made. A fantastic spot that truly delivers quality and taste. We were pleasantly surprised and left very satisfied.

I'm not a big coffee drinker, which means in winter I usually order hot chocolate at a cafe. When I stopped into Wired Cafe this afternoon for the first time I ordered my usual hot chocolate. It was anything but usual. YUM! I couldn't put my finger on the difference, but it was rich and creamy, sweet, but not cloying. The vibe at Wired Cafe was even better. So warm and welcoming. Next time I'll order food. And make no mistake, there will be a next time (and a next and next...). Highly recommend!

I came in during the Stroll On State. I had a creative idea to barter shoveling their sidewalks for a cup of coffee. My wife Molly and I were volunteering for the Stroll on State shoveling at City Market and we were cold and thought, why not see if we can help out a local business and get hot coffee too. The gentleman didn't like the idea, and walked us outside and closed the door. It was an interesting interaction. It showed me what core values the employees of this establishment have in their hearts. We ended up shoveling at the Rockford Art Deli, and they gave us free gloves, so we purchased hot cider from their establishment instead. I didn't feel love or warmth at Wired Café.

Recently ordered a to-go box of coffee for an event at Mendelssohn. Box was ready right on time at the requested time. I have never had air-roasted coffee, so I did not know what to expect. It was good coffee! I selected the lighter roast because I knew we had a group. I personally prefer dark, which I will get the next time. We will use them again for our coffee needs......

Wired is a great, great downtown Rockford spot who roast their own beans, and make some really excellent coffee. The staff are friendly and appreciative of your business. Definitely make a stop by here!

I took my mom here this morning, it was her first time. I had to leave before she did, but she called me and said Matt and Josh helped her get her things on the bus when it came to get her. She has very poor vision so it means so much to me that they did that. They walk around and chat with all the patrons. The BEST customer service we’ve ever had. And the coffee was amazing as always.
My husband & I had our first date here 9 years ago. It's a very comfortable place & the drinks are excellent.

went here yesterday and ordered an iced caramel latte...I took a few sips and had to throw it away (cost me $8). There was no coffee taste; it had no flavor, almost tasted like plastic or something. Very disappointing. Especially when trying a local coffee shop.
Coffee this morning was made wrong (iced not hot) then remade graciously, still wrong (no flavor or splash of milk). Tasted really burnt.
I don't usually do reviews, but the homemade biscuits and gravy were hands down the best I've had. Service was not overbearing but was attentive and you could tell that the server cared and enjoyed his job, and he was very charismatic.the barista was sweet and made me feel comfortable even with how full the place was( I get a bit of social anxiety). The seating is set up where there's one or two solo tables for introverts and some bigger tables that help you engage with the other patrons. Coffee was perfect. It felt like a community when I went in that I would want to be a part of. Will 100% be coming back again with friends.
