Woodfire Rockford is a welcoming restaurant with a friendly host and attentive waitstaff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with the enticing smell of wood-fired ovens upon entry. The food is amazing, with a variety of options including pizzas such as the fantastic caprese and pepperoni pizza. The crust was delicious, and fresh mozzarella. The fries with truffle salt were wonderful. ALL dough was freshly made, even in the appetizers like the burrata and bruschetta. Definitely worth spending the money. Service was awesome. It's a nice change from the usual Midwest flat crust or deep dish.
