We have an event on December 21. I tried to make a reservation for 6 pm and I was told they don't take reservations on Saturdays if it's after 3:30 pm. What the heck?
We've tried to get in on a Friday and they were slammed, couldn't get in without a reservation. I was told that they do take reservations. One would assume that if they take reservations on a Friday, they would take them on a Saturday.
Apparently they don't, except for lunch.
Ridiculous.
Someone recommended this place to us. I'm not too familiar with Rockford but if I'm ever back I will stop by this place. Service was awesome. Hostess sat us right away. Server was there a couple min later and she was great. Believe her name was Kendra. We got our drinks. Smoked old fashioned was good, a little sweeter than I make them but still good. The fries with truffle salt were wonderful. The pizza was fantastic. A nice change from the usual Midwest flat crust or...
Terrific pizza. We ordered the caprese and pepperoni pizza, as well as the burrata and bruschetta.
ALL dough was freshly made, even in the appetizers. Definitely worth spending the money.
Watch out though, no free refills!
