“Very nice restaurant! Love the ambiance. It's clean and the decor is beautiful especially the floral portion on the ceiling and paint color on the brick. We ordered skillets and they were large portions and were not greasy. Very delicious! I upgraded my pancakes to the signature honey berry ones and they were amazing!! Not too sweet and my husband ate half cause they were huge! Wide variety on their menu so we will be back.“

“This place was great. We stopped in this morning I had the green bowl & the Oreo donut. I have no idea how he got the bowl of the base so light & airy. Normally bowls are dense, it was not at all, I really enjoyed it. Husband got the peanut lovers shake. It was all so good. It was filling & satisfying. The setup is great, loved the post it note wall.The owner was super friendly & welcoming. He said he’d been in business one year, hope he has many more years of success. He has a great shop.Dietary restrictions: I’m soy & dairy intolerant & there were plenty of options on the menu for me to enjoy.“

“Our son, Parker has worked at Nekter for almost a year now. He actually loves working there, and that’s all you can ask from your 18-year-old son. Loren and Brandon, the owners, really care about these kids and the same with the quality of food they make fresh every day. Having a son who works at Nekter has also afforded us the opportunity to try virtually everything on the menu. Yes, we are real customers but mostly we just love healthy food that tastes really good. If you’ve ever had a smoothie from a chain place, you’ll instantly know the difference. Our favorite things are their Chia pudding w pumpkin and a Popeyes Açaí are ridiculous. You know when your teenager makes homemade cashew milk at home… reminds you that you live in Barrington but also that the universe is working!“

“Smooth, creamy, with a bit of crunch and so decadent and healthy. Who said you can't have the best of two worlds?? It's definitely on the pricey side but it's in a popular part of Chicago so that's to be expected. I stopped by here after many runs I did during the 100 degrees weather weeks.. and the delicious smoothies were worth every sip! They can customize them to your liking if you want to swap out certain ingredients. Service was super friendly and recognized my sweaty face after my second visit which made me laugh. I especially loved the maca protein smoothie. Take my money.“

“The flatbread here is so delicious. If you need a quick snack or breakfast before hitting on the train or going somewhere, definitely check this place out. The fresh juice is refreshing and delicious. I can't wait to go back and try other items on their menu.“
