“There is nothing about this place I don't recommend. The meads are amazing, their Cocktail Master is amazing at coming up with unusual combinations, and is great fun to talk to. The music mix is great as well (but possibly because I'm old 😁)! Overall, the place is extremely welcoming, with a selection of games and sofas so you can sit and enjoy your drinks and socialize.“

“Just happened upon this venue after dining next door. Kenny escorted us downstairs and I knew immediately I wanted to celebrate my grandson turning 30. Wow wow wow! It totally exceeded my expectation’s and Kenny the King was an amazing host. Memories were made last night. Thank you Kenny for everything. Lynda and family“

“Lucky Bernie’s is such a vibe ! Stepping in there really makes you feel like you are out of town. The music and lighting are always spot on. Everyone there always goes above and beyond with decorating for ANY event. Food is always great & the service is exceptional.“
“We had the use of Bliss from 1-5 on a Saturday when they are normally closed.
We hosted a birthday party with 45 people attending, had it catered locally, and hired a 3 piece band playing amplified acoustic music. Owner Alex bartended and did a wonderful job. It’s a lovely and comfortable old building in a great location with an owner that has his head in a very good place. We give it an 11 out of 10. Thanks again Alex.“

“😀Great food, however, the “build your own burger“was a disappointment. The onions tasted bitter and very salty. I got the worst case of heartburn from this burger! OMG. Otherwise, everything else is top quality! Be careful when ordering this “build your own burger.”🍔 I’ve never tasted onions so bad, and seem to be imbedded into the meat that tasted so bitter and awful salty. “I chose to celebrate with my classmates from North Chicago Community High School 75' October birthday club. The Brunch food was amazing, staff were so attentive to our requests. “The specials were German entries. I ordered the pork chop, German potatoe salad and sourkraut. It was good except the pork chop was over cooked and dried out. The chicken teriyaki and pasta bowl is delishious. So is the calamari. Our server was very pleasant We celebrated a birthday and she brought out a piece of cake with a candle. Always enjoy the Firkin!!“

“We were at the Gurnee location for dinner tonight. Gabby (Gabriell) was our waitress and she was amazing! She greeted us quickly, gave great recommendations, and she smiled the whole time. We will be requesting her every time we dine there!“
