“Seen mentioned on here and it said best Hamburgers in southern Illinois and that couldn't be more true. I had the Wimpy Burger wich brought so many memories from a restaurant my dad used to run i. Effingham Wimpys Grill . Best Burger I've found in years great service and a very friendly staff and the owner is a amazing guy Mrs had spicy chicken sandwich wich was equally as good. Yall need to visit chucks place!”

“This is the real thing. Best Italian food I have ever had. Cozy little restaurant that is clean as can be and the server was just great. This girl really can multitask when taking care of the customers. The portions are generous, and the prices very reasonable. So glad we stopped there and will definitely return next time we are in Salem.”

“The food here was fantastic! I had lobster nachos and my friend had seafood enchiladas. The queso that they brought with the chips and salsa was some of the best we ever had. The salsa had just the right amount of zip! Margaritas were super tasty! The prices were very reasonable! I highly recommend it!”

“Wow! I was impressed. Found them by chance on an "Explore America road trip." I had the Cobb salad with spicy grilled Chicken. The salad was hugh (could easily feed 4) and delishous! Hats off to Sanna, her Father and family. They have the recipe for success figured out. Thank You. ?❤️?”

“Whiskey Outlaw Steakhouse on Iron Saddles Ranch in Salem IL. They raise longhorns on the ranch and serve ‘em up in the restaurant- doesn’t get more farm to table than that.

The smash burger and potato skins were delicious. Homemade chips.

We watched cowboys riding horses from the table. They host rodeos a couple times a year. May have to come back for one of those.”

“I LOVE this location!! The staff are very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is always clean, and well kept. Kenny and Kayla and the rest of the staff do a wonderful job of making the customers feel welcome and well taken care of. If I go out to eat, Dairy Queen in Salem, IL is the place I go!!”

“Best Mexican food in town! Their tacos and pretzels are just amazing for it being here in the middle of no where Illinois, definetly one of my favorite places in my whole area. The service is genuinely awesome they’ve never gotten my orders wrong and they’re always happy to help! The atmosphere is nice it’s the best they can do with what they have and I respect them for making the most out of it!

Vegetarian options: there is none I don’t think you’d have to ask or look.

Dietary restrictions: it’s not vegan and I don’t know if they do have vegan options or not, if you have any certain allergies than just ask because they will certainly help you.

Parking: just good general parking, quite a few places to park at

Kid-friendliness: Every time I go to Chico’s theres always a family with kids there playing as there are kids toys in the restaurant, as well as gumball and other machines as well as out-door seating for the kids to have fun in the rocks or whatever

Wheelchair accessibility: no stairs or anything; smooth pavement. Should be easy to access but I would just drive thru.”

“The food is wonderful meals cooked up already sandwich meats UT fresh cakes and salad already prepared employees act like they don't know what you mean half the time there are a few very knowledgeable if it's not rush time it sometimes takes a while to get there attention and some could try to stay a little cleaner but for all it's worth blows there competitors out the door”

“I had my first concrete today at Dairy Mart. And I'm here to tell you it was the BEST I've ever tasted in my life!!
The ice cream was delicious, and I had cheesecake & oreo in every bite. IVE NEVER been able to say that for _ _! So if u want the Best Quality ice-cream and service, try Dairy Mart. You will get what u pay for, and you don't have to pay for extra stuff. You all know what I meant. So please stop by soon they will close for the season , and Sunday is the last day”

“This place is a good restaurant service was pretty good waiters are nice and the food was good the best one was the triple chocolate meltdown that was amazing if recommend eating here a lot if your close by the place and the four cheese mac and cheese is a good option for lunch they have a good burger and fries I would recommend getting this”

“I try to come here every time I'm back in IL to visit. There are so many great memories coming here as a kid, stuffing my face with pizza and playing video games. Miss all the video games, but hey, it's a different time. They were remodeling this visit. I look forward to seeing what they do with the place!
