“Seen mentioned on here and it said best Hamburgers in southern Illinois and that couldn't be more true. I had the Wimpy Burger wich brought so many memories from a restaurant my dad used to run i. Effingham Wimpys Grill . Best Burger I've found in years great service and a very friendly staff and the owner is a amazing guy Mrs had spicy chicken sandwich wich was equally as good. Yall need to visit chucks place!”

“This is the real thing. Best Italian food I have ever had. Cozy little restaurant that is clean as can be and the server was just great. This girl really can multitask when taking care of the customers. The portions are generous, and the prices very reasonable. So glad we stopped there and will definitely return next time we are in Salem.”

“I have never had any problems with the service ever. My food always comes out in a decent time. Joe’s is probably the best place in Salem to get a huge delicious salad and maybe an exotic pizza. My only issue is that their red sauce in their pizza and spaghetti is just too sweet for me.”

“Fantastic experience at Salem Pour House! I was visiting from out of state and instantly felt welcomed by the inviting atmosphere and friendly vibes. The bartenders were amazing—super attentive, personable, and incredibly helpful in offering tips and recommendations for someone new to the area. A great spot all around!”

The drive-thru is really quick bec they will come to your car while u are in line, get your payment, and your order is at the window when u drive up. Highly recommend.”

“Best Mexican food in town! Their tacos and pretzels are just amazing for it being here in the middle of no where Illinois, definetly one of my favorite places in my whole area. The service is genuinely awesome they’ve never gotten my orders wrong and they’re always happy to help! The atmosphere is nice it’s the best they can do with what they have and I respect them for making the most out of it!

Vegetarian options: there is none I don’t think you’d have to ask or look.

Dietary restrictions: it’s not vegan and I don’t know if they do have vegan options or not, if you have any certain allergies than just ask because they will certainly help you.

Parking: just good general parking, quite a few places to park at

Kid-friendliness: Every time I go to Chico’s theres always a family with kids there playing as there are kids toys in the restaurant, as well as gumball and other machines as well as out-door seating for the kids to have fun in the rocks or whatever

Wheelchair accessibility: no stairs or anything; smooth pavement. Should be easy to access but I would just drive thru.”

“We're always traveling up and down I 57 thru Illinois and forever in search of a good Chinese restaurant. Well, we finally found one. We were driving home to Kentucky and did a Google search of upcoming restaurants and China King Buffet appeared. We stopped in and had a very good lunch..$33.50 for two buffets and two soft drinks isn't really bad in today's economy. We both filled up on two plates so we skipped dessert but there is ice cream available. Highly recommend if you're in the salem area.”
