“Went here with a friend and had the AYCE at $34.99 per person. The portions are smaller, so if you have a smaller appetite, it will work for you. Staff was very friendly and were kind to me when I had forgotten my headphones in the restaurant. Recommend if you're a UIUC student looking to eat KBBQ!“

“Smoked pulled pork was good! service and establishment did not care that they made 1/2 our order incorrectly, despite being entered by the server correctly. unfortunately I had to ask to not pay for the wrong food. we waited 30 minutes for chips and cheese, but got it within 3 minutes after mentioning it to them again and seeing a table that arrived after us receive a fried appetizer before us....no apologies or care. sad to see.“

“I've been to several smokehouse around Illinois. I've always said none of them compare to southern style smokehouse throughout Oklahoma and Texas as well as a few other states... today I was proven wrong. Those Ranch beans are absolutely delicious.... the chili with brisket is amazing.... the cornbread? the best...you have to try this place!“

“Went for lunch today and the food was amazing! Got the rib tip dinner which came with fries, baked beans, coleslaw and toast, and also got the collard greens. All of the food was delicious and I will definitely be coming back! My friend got the banana pudding but we will be back for the cheesecake!!“

“I got a half chicken, and it was so dry. Their BBQ sauce is very delicious and managed to salvage it, but on it's own was flavorless and dry
Cornbread was good but fell apart. Very, very crumbly.
Dryness was an issue for the beef brisket as well.
Okra was really good. Mac and cheese was alright.
Service was okay. Had a bit of trouble at one point trying to get their attention to get some butter and they forgot some Texas toast with one of our meals.
Not a terrible place but not impressed either.“
