“What a treat to have in Staunton! The salads are always fresh and delicious. The pastries and desserts are amazing!”

“Many thanks to George the owner in making a dream of mine possible. I live out of state and he made sure my best friends received a few of his bakery's delicious treats. Absolute prince for what for making it all happen. Many sincere Thanks to he and his staff for his humanity and selflessness.”

“Tracy and Callie do an incredible job of fostering community at this bar. Not only are the brewed beers incredible, but all cocktails and mocktails are top notch and the rotating guest beers means there's always something to enjoy. We love going for trivia, open mic night, or anytime there's music. We always know there will be a friendly face and good conversations because there's no TVs to turn the crowd into zombies. The patio is welcoming, and the inside is cozy and extremely clean. If I could give more than a 100% rating I would. I feel so fortunate to have such a good small-town bar in this community.”

“Great food and Great service!”

“Sage House is a “Top Shelf” stop. Threw a dart at the menu? You can’t go wrong. Why it’s only a 4.8 star rating is beyond me. Must do!”

“The classic rock band hat trick. always enjoys playing there on sundays ,when its fried chicken day”

“Staff is friendly. Food was excellent!”

“I had the burger and fries. It was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It was great! The staff was even better. I felt very welcomed. 10/10 highly recommend”

“The Italian wedding soup is one of the best soups I have ever eaten. It’s a must! Thank you Cavataios for yet again great food and service!”

“We stopped in on Sunday 3/16/2025 on way home from Springfield. I saw tablecloths and cloth napkins thought we would be out of place. Far from it. From the hostess, to waitress, bus boys made everyone feel so welcome. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she was so good, friendly, knowledgeable. Fried chicken was awesome, as was my husband's chicken fried steak, soup and salad bar. So to the very pretty young lady with the long wavy hair thank you for making us feel so welcome, making fresh coffee and never letting cup get empty. We would drive the 100 miles from home again to eat here. From the old biker with beard and wife with the crutch.”

“Tried the burgers for the first time..... excellent! If it's your first visit, just know they only take cash. However, there's an ATM that you can use with a 3.00 service fee.... but the prices are so reasonable, it's still much less expensive than other places!”

Thank you to everyone we met, made us feel welcome and at home. Highly recommend. We will be back Saturday on our way back home to Fond du lac, WI. Love you all!!!!”

“Good place to have a good time”

“We tried the coffee & soda drinks today and they were delicious!! Tons of options for flavors, add ins, toppings, etc - including a good amount of no or low sugar. Loved the blueberry pancake latte and added some blueberries crushed into the drink - amazing! My bestie had honey Diet Coke and also loved her drinks. Yum!! (Wish I lived closer but I know she will be back!)”

“Just a wonderful neighborhood place!!! 💞💓”
