Great steaks and wine selection. Quiet so you can actually converse with dinner companions. Friendly management and attentive service.

Food was great service was great as well Just too loud couldn't hold a conversation with the person I was with because of loud customers

I cannot recommend Donna enough! I came to Chicago Prime Steakhouse with my parents last week- she is truly the best server I have ever had at a steakhouse, and we love a good steakhouse! From the moment we were seated, her warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism stood out to me ( I am a waitress myself, so I notice these things). She anticipates every need, remembers details, and goes above and beyond to make each guest feel valued.

What makes her remarkable isn't just her skill- it is her amazing personality. She is kind, empathetic, and seems to genuinely care about the people she serves, all while handling what could be a stressful work environment with patience, grace, and humor! I love a waitress that can make me laugh! Her positivity elevates the entire dining experience.

She made us feel seen and appreciated, not just as a customer but as a person. It's very rare, especially now-a-days, to meet someone so talented and genuinely kind-hearted. If you have the chance to be served by her, consider yourself extremely lucky- she is an absolute gem and I will be recommending her if we return to this restaurant. We have got all attention from our great server Martha who was not only very professional but also very friendly. Our table was constantly taken care of with nice and friendly ways. All food was delicious and served great. All ambiance makes us feel we were a special guest Highly recommend the restaurant to celebrates any occasion! It was a ME, MYSELF & I, MENTAL DAY. We all go thru trial and tribulations in our life were you got to have a SELF CARE DAY. Chicago Prime Steakhouse was that for ME…. From the time I walked thru the door, I was greeted with nothing but warm welcomes, excellent hospitality and an awesome sweet waitress name Donna who catered to me like an Angel that I needed. The staff was very friendly with smiles on their face. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere was very clean and dim lighting, it was ZEN moment in this Gem. The food melted in my mouth each bite, oh boy, they do give u plenty. I order the Cowboy ribeye steak, with a Freshly made garden salad, delish. The lobster mac n cheese, breathtaking. The creamy spinach, superb. And a KeyLime pie Martini, with the cookie crumbs around the rim, top-tier . And ending the meal with a melt in your mouth KeyLime pie Yessss this place was 🔥🔥🔥. And I will definitely recommend 10/10 Gem. Chicago Prime Steakhouse you will be seeing me again. Do not waste your money here. Nothing about this place is over the top or equal to other steak houses. It wasn’t all bad, as soon as we were seated the bus boy took all the silverware even though we told him we had a third person with us that was in the restroom. He said he’d bring it back and didn’t so I got up and grabbed it off another table. The waiter kept forgetting things. He brought the wrong appetizer. The entrees and sides came out barely warm. My wife retuned her entree and they did throw it in the oven so that was nice. The steaks are just ok, no wow factor whatsoever. The owner went and spoke to all his buddies and asked if everything was ok but did not come say hello to us. Do yourself a favor and go to Gibsons, Morton’s, Ruths Chris or even Jameson’s in Arlington Heights, You'll get way better food and service. Overall very disappointing and won’t go back. And just to be clear, you can tell the owner doesn’t care about reviews as he doesn’t respond to them. I’m doing this to warn others not to blow $300-$400 for a special event such as a birthday for 3 people to eat a mediocre at best meal.

Had a great first experience here last night for my birthday. Anthony, our server, was great. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, Open Table time confirmed the time to be at restaurant at 7PM and Chicago Prime Steakhouse was at 6:30PM. I did call the prior night to verify the time and the person I spoke with confirmed 7PM, but when we showed up at 7:06PM, we were behind schedule and the dinner time did actually start at 6:30PM. Poor communication between Chicago Prime Steakhouse and Open Table reservations. I also stated the occasion was for a birthday and requested birthday cake and Chicago Prime didn't honor that request because they were unaware. Very bad first time experience, albeit the food was good, service was excellent and wine offerings were superb!

Very nice, old style, steak and wine place. White tablecloths and perfect service. A place I could go back every time for every occasion (even alone!)
