Great food. Our server was very nice and very familiar with the menu. The Cowboy steak was delicious. The creme brulee is a must try!! It's definitely a place to try. The prices are on the high side.

Great food-we had chopped salad, 8oz. Filet w mashed potato and a side order of creamed spinach-delish!!! Service was stellar! Ambiance wonderful ! Owner made his rounds to greet and entertain customers! Best cosmo drink we have had in a very long time-if not the best!!!We will be back!!

I have been here several times and this last experience was possibly our last. When we left I asked why we keep giving this place another try. I guess we are expecting the service we got years ago. Owner is always there and very nice but sometimes is a bit over the top with his comments. Food is average. We used to go for the steak and great appetizers. This last time the appetizers were not good. Quality has changed for the worse. Steaks were very tough. I feel bad because I am sure this has to do with the increase in prices. They clearly raised their price to offset but lowered their standards on quality. Drinks are not made well at all. They made at least 6 mistakes from the bar. For this price you are better off going to Gibsons or Morton's as the price is the same but the quality never is compromised at those places!

Great experience! This is a classic suburban upscale dinner jacket steakhouse. 5-star service. George visited the table. Shared the oysters (huge oysters, mutant, almost off-putting) calamari and a refreshing wedge salad. For the main, I had the veal parmesan and it was a tomahawk veal steak, absolutely massive, smothered in cheese, with a pile of pasta. Could barely get through half. Veal was tender. Can't wait to go back.Wheelchair accessibility: Single story with restroom on the main floor. Do not recall their being a step anywhere.
We were in Chicago for an event and birthday celebration. We found good reviews on Open Table for Chicago Prime Steakhouse. Everything was perfect. Definitely has a family feel and quality in an upscale setting. There were people dressed up and others dressed casually. The staff is very professional and made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. I wish I remembered our waiters name because he was amazing. The food was so delicious. The house balsamic vinaigrette was some of the best I've had. The steak was cooked perfectly to temperature with a good sear. Mashed potatoes tasted like home, like my grandmother's. We shared key lime pie and tiramisu...both were perfection. Ended with a yummy cappuccino. Absolutely recommend if you are looking for a delicious meal in an upscale environment.
The food was excellent as expected- our server was not very attentive and - on a few occasions- was distracted with other wait staff by having side conversations while taking our order. Not a good sign and not up to standard.

The customer service was horrible. The food was cold. They couldn't substitute a mix salad for a Cesar salad without getting charged $10, the salad came with our meal. They messed up our bill and didn't fix it. I would not recommend this restaurant. Never again will I come here or recommend anyone to dine here. If I could give them a negative rating I would.
I had the 10oz Filet. Melted on the plate. Very tasty. The sides were excellent also mashed potatoes, asparagus, broccoli. Appetizers were awesome also Shrimp deshonge, bruceta, and salad hit the spot. Can't wait to do it again.
Every dining experience here is fantastic and last night was no different. They went out of their way to make a special occasion even more special! Management was so accommodating!
Our second visit to Chicago Prime after an amazing first trip there. Unfortunately this visit was well below expectations. Despite requesting a booth we were seated at a table. Our location was close to the windows and front door - so both my wife and daughter were cold most of the evening. When our food arrived it was set on a tray table and preceded to sit next to us for 5 minutes before someone came over to plate it in front of us. By then it had gone from piping hot to luke warm. One of our sides was missing and by the time it arrived we were done with our main course. Overall for the cost associated with this place you are better off going to one of the prime downtown locations. Desserts are overpriced - even when comparing to top shelf places like Chicago Cut (our favorite steakhouse in Chicagoland). With so many options to choose from we likely will not be venturing back. Food overall was mediocre. Steaks were cooked fine, Cajun garnishment was a big miss. Wife's seafood was fairly bland. Just very surprised after a pleasant first experience.

The waiter was very attentive until we got our food then we kept having to call other people to get boxes, dessert, and the check! The tables are so close together my husbands drink almost got knocked down multiple times by someone's butt trying to squeeze through! The sautéed calamari was amazing, my bone in filet was perfect, the oysters Rockefeller were ok we've had better, my husbands ribeye was charred barely edible as long as he scraped the char off, we also ordered potatoes augratin and twice baked potato both very bland literally tasted like a dry plain potato I could've done better at home! All in all I probably wouldn't go back again for the money, Perry's is way better!!!
