Molly's Cupcakes Woodfield

My favorite cupcakes ever! I can say I have tried different cupcakes from different bakery and mollys cupcakes are the best! There are so many great choices. Chocolate decadence is my number one, cookie monster, creme brulee, peach cobbler, and a seasonal one that I can't remember the name. The young lady that is always there when we visit is so nice. I always like to ask for recommendations, and she once told me the Flourless chocolate cake one is good. So I tried it, and it's to die for. So good! I also love it when they have ugly duckling. It gives me the chance to try some new flavors for less money. Can't wait to go shopping again and get my family some cupcakes.

I work at woodfield Mall, and whenever I get the chance I get a cupcake from here. My go to is the Peach Cobbler, but I also love to try their new flavors. Recently I tried the Maple Crumbs, and I really liked it. I think it’s my new favorite flavor, I hope they bring it back next fall! I also love that they serve coffee from a local brand! I always get a cup when I’m closing the store.
Also, for anyone saying that the cupcakes are stale, that’s not true. Every time I open the store, I see them bring in a fresh batch. Overall, great place!

We travel an hour to the Woodfield Mall for a day of fun, at the request of our son. Our first stop is always at Molly's cupcakes! My son literally just wants to come to the mall for these cupcakes! His favorite is the cake batter. My husband loves the strawberry cheesecake, and my favorite is the salted butterscotch caramel. There are so many delicious flavors, and the taste never disappoints! We have become very fond of the owner and her pleasant demeanor. She always remembers us when we visit her cupcake store. She is such a gem and treats my son so well. We can't wait to come back soon!

I had high expectations but these were some of the worst tasting cupcakes i’ve ever purchased. It’s like the baking directions were purposely not followed. Ive never been so disappointed in a baked good. Oh and lets not forget the price. Over paying for cupcakes so terrible you don’t finish them just tops of an overall terrible experience. I’d like an apology from Molly.

Atmosphere was in a mall so that was okay. The setup is nice but the cupcakes were terrible and tasted old/stale. At $4.25 per cupcake they should be fresh everyday.We had the Samoa and Sea Salt caramel chocolate cupcakes and I can’t believe this place had a winning cupcake on Cupcake Wars in 2009 but clearly they have let the quality go since then and it’s a shame. Not likely to ever try again or recommend.

Tacky signs plastered all over cash register asking for cash tips. Not 1 or 2 signs, but at least 3 signs.

The "ugly duckling" cupcakes they sell at 1/2 off, are not only damaged, acceptable, but they are also stale and old, not acceptable.

On of asking for cash tips, the eating area is dirty and not regularly cleaned. We had clean up the crumbs covering the table.
