“Gpay didn't work and I had no physical card. After trying the Gpay several times, I gave up. The manager asked for the drink I was drinking back, lol. I got in the car, saw my wallet in the seat and decided not to go back in. I drove out of my way to try this food, but this experience with being asked for the drink back was shocking. #theapartmentlady“

“Hidden inside of a motel this location is clean but dated with battered furniture. This helps give it character, unless you are expecting something fancy to go with the prices. They aren't cheap but Uno is a Chicago area landmark. Our waitress was very friendly and made it a fun experience.

We had Pizza Skins as an appetizer. These are mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon on a deep dish pizza crust. It sounds strange but they are surprisingly good.

Their deep dish is more crust with less sauce, and I prefer it this way. Maybe the best deep dish I've had in years. All of the ingredients are balanced and the crust is perfect.“

“This was a really convenient fueling option close to O’Hare Airport. The price of fuel was a little higher than regular street gas stations, this location was a great on-off interstate access option, especially when fueling and dropping off a rental car at the airport before hopping on a departing flight.“

“BEST Italian food in Illinois, this place is absolutely amazing. We got the poblano soup and the rigatoni alla traverstin and it was the best pasta and soup I have ever had. I requested it to be spicy, and they made it exactly how I wanted it, it was wonderful! My husband ordered his without the spice and it was just as amazing. Also, it is very refreshing to have a restaurant where all of the waiter and waitresses have conversations with the guests, it was so great to see. We had Susanna and her sister and they were so sweet to us. They all are so hospitable and genuinely great people. We have tried many many Italian restaurants in the area, and this is by far the best one and a must try.“

“We had friends in town for the night and knew we would get a good meal and experience at Gaia. We sat outside so had to pause conversation for the passing BNSF and Metra trains, but that is all part of the ambiance. We had the arrancini special appetizer which had the perfect ratio of rice to filling. I had the halibut, and it was perfectly prepared with a piccata sauce and angel hair. Our friends enjoyed that the staff is familiar and all welcoming which adds to the neighborhood feel.“
