We found this little spot on our GPS as we were heading into Illinois, and it didn’t disappoint!! They make their crust, which was a perfect combine of soft and crunchy. The flavors were spot on! The staff has been there for years and are very friendly. The owner was there and we chatted with him for a bit. By the time we left, we almost felt like family! Note: We were traveling in a motorhome, pulling a toad. There’s a huge parking lot next door they said it was ok to park in (there were no parking signs posted) so pulling into it, we were able to pull straight out to the road behind to get back on the freeway. There’s also enough room to turn around if you’re this big! Will def stop when we head back south!! 🤤 Thanks for the hospitality!

I hadn't been to Gillios in over 20 years...last time I was there it was still the old building. I was a regular customer back in the day! Stopped there on the way back from Smokin Joes Fireworks, and its STILL the BEST pizza in Southern Illinois! The new place is really nice! The service is great. The food is great. The price is cheaper than any place around! Katie and her parents are such nice people and have a wonderful establishment. After having some Gillio's Pizza for the first time in a long time, we will be going there from here on out! It's SO GOOD!

My daughters favorite pizza small town joint. Family owned and very nice people who go out of their way to make your experience great! Just ask if something isn't right and they will correct it no problem.

We ordered 2 pizzas and they were decent they came out about 10 minutes apart. Mine was almost cold when his came out. The gluten free pizza had a bit to much sauce on it then Italian beef had a bit to much ranch
