I grabbed a cheeseburger and fried pickels. The cook/owner was a super friendly gal and a super cook. I believe those tomatoes on burger were garden fresh. I ate at the bar which I loved how it was set up. Very good, easy relaxed atmosphere. Spoke to the bartender/ owner and chatted about people we've knew. I didn't catch their names. I think Tiffany was what the husband /bartender said. I would definitely drive from Carmi for another cheeseburger!
This is a large bar. We stopped in had a couple drinks. Watched some horse races on tv, and headed out. It was still early in the day and im sure it gets rocking at night. It had a drive up window for alcohol purchases. Lots of seating. Bathrooms were clean.
