We tried Byrd’s Hot Chicken in Skokie and it was absolutely worth it! We ordered the Byrd Bomb (crispy tenders with cheese, slaw, 24 karat sauce, pickles on bread and hot toast) and it was packed with flavor. The hot chicken sandwich was juicy and had the perfect kick, while the crispy Byrd wrap was a great twist with amazing crunch. We also got a full order of wings, and they were cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside and tender inside. The drinks selection is solid (Pepsi products) and paired perfectly with the heat. Service was great, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the place had plenty of space with lots of parking available. If you’re looking for delicious hot halal chicken with great portions and excellent service, this is the spot. Definitely coming back! Also they are on uber eats and open super late

We ordered a Chick'n Donut and asked for no spicy sauce, but it was very spicy for my son. My son was so hungry, but he couldn't eat it. The donut has spicy sauce, and the additional sauce on the side is also spicy. I showed my receipt, but it said we ordered the plain one, and the employee still refused to make another order.
