This use to be really good restaurant, but service and food quality is unacceptable after new management took over. I ordered plate of Enchiladas and sauce was too salty, and loaded nachos was not good either. I asked waiter for the sauce and that was never brought to the table. I would avoid this restaurant next time.

Came out to eat ( based on Google search) at 9:40 am and the Restaurant was closed. Google search shows opening times of 9:00 am but on the door of the restaurant it’s 10:00 am. What a waist of time. Restaurant operating hours should be up to date !!

Food was pretty good But the only bad thing was they were short staffed so just my drinks took about 10 minutes the food took about 15 to 20 minutes they did forget our appetizer from one to 5 it’s a 3.

My husband and I found the meal quite flavorful and our waitress was very pleasant. We will recommend this place. Food was quite reasonable and were of generous serving.

My family has been coming here for 15+ years. We recently visited el tipico this weekend, we haven’t been in maybe 2-3 years. There has been a lot of changes since the new owners took over. The tortilla chips were bright yellow and tasted very fake, almost like Frosted Flakes cereal… salsa was bland, most likely came out of a jar. Not long after getting our margaritas (which were pretty bad as well) we saw a mouse run across the room. Told our waitress about it, but I’m not sure there was much she could do, it was not her fault.We asked our waitress if the cook could take some fresh tortillas, cut them in 4’s to fry up some fresh chips. When she came back she told us the chef said they could not do that because the tortilla chips “would disintegrate”. I don’t even know how the hell that would be possible but we just said ok forget it.The kamuchies have changed and they just serve them as a plate of nachos now, with the same fake tortilla chips. Our dinners arrived and they were served on cold plates and the food was all room temp / on the cold side, The only good thing was that our waitress was very nice.In all. We ordered 3 jumbo margaritas, coke, guac, kamuchies, and 4 steak/cheese poblano pepper dinners, and our total was $150!!! For terrible food with mice running throughout the restaurant. I wish I could give a 0/10.It’s very sad to see this establishment has changed so much over the years. It used to be a beautiful place with great food. And decor. Now it is run down, horrible food and dirty. During the 2 hours we dined, the place was pretty empty so I take that as the business is not doing well.

Excellent service & real authentic Mexican food. 1st time will definitely be back.
