Paid 16.00 for an extremely small skirt steak sandwich which wasn't freshly cooked was cold ordered on garlic bread with no garlic flavor at all. I recommend that you go to poochies if they were open I would have.

You know when you walk into a place and it makes you feel like you're family?! Well, this is THAT kind of place; a family run business that treats everyone that walks through the door like they're family. The food is not only delicious and comforting, but it's made quick to order. We were all super pleased with what we ate and even more so with the service. Best last meal before we left Chicago! Glad we stopped in!

This place is rock solid. The food is great and the atmosphere is outstanding. Everything in their huge menu is reasonably priced. If you're looking for an authentic Chicago spot but don't want to drive into the city, check out Herm's Palace!

My husband is a very loyal customer - loves their gyros with everything. I think their Greek salad is fabulous. Very fresh ingredients, and generous amounts of them... great olives, a briny feta cheese that's the real deal, tomatoes, romaine, red onions, cucumber and pickled yellow peppers + two sides of Greek vinaigrette. Plus, it's very clean and the owners are super nice.

Herm's has been our go to on Dempster for hot dogs, burgers, great sandwiches, fries and salads for 25 years. Food is always delicious, served with a smile exactly how you like it! They don't even give me grief about ketchup on my hotdog! Owner is friendly, staff never writes down an order and theynever make a mistake!

We discovered this place about a month ago, and we've been back half a dozen times since then. Definitely, it's now one of our regular, go-to places. They have a big menu, and we are enjoying exploring it; we haven't found anything disappointing. They have great italian beefs and combos, good subs, delicious soups, good blackened fish sandwich, and I would actually highly recommend their eggplant parmesan sandwich. They also have lots of vegetarian options.
