I grew up in Evanston and never tried this diner until recently. I walked in and told them it was my first time and the nice lady with glasses broke down the menu for me and described the places history and what they’re known for. I felt very happy with their customer service. Not only did all the workers have smiles, they made sure the food was hot and fresh and handed to me with a smile too. I ordered the burger buddy and pastrami sandwich meals and they were both 11/10! Definitely coming back and bringing family and the Girlfriend lol. Keep up the great customer service, atmosphere, and amazing food! :)

Wow! We happened to be in Skokie and decided we were craving a burger. So we came here for some kosher grub. First I noticed how cool the restaurant looks. True 50s diner decor! Then the menu -- everything in Chicago we've been wanting to try (like an Italian beef) but haven't been able to since we only eat kosher meat. We got the big mushroom burger, the burger buddy, and the corn dog to share. So good! The service was fast and friendly. It feels like a true mom and pop shop. We are sitting here now and already planning what we will get the next time we come here.
