Today was the first time I have ever Ben in a Portillo’s Restaurant, first time I have ever had an Italian beef sandwich. I have a Lotta friends in Fort Myers who go all the way to Tampa to get this sandwich and they continue to tell me how good it is. So this evening we decided to go to Portillo since I was visiting on my grandkids and my daughter and son-in-law, I really enjoyed that Italian beef sandwich. Good food not my first time.
Do NOT eat at this location because they discriminate against people with disabilities. I know a great, hardworking person who works here who has medical issues that prevent her from taking out the garbage. Another staff member was really mean to my friend about it, and nothing is being done to help my friend who works here. Portillos in Skokie discriminates against people with disabilities, so avoid this place because of how they treat their staff who have disabilities.
