OMG! Where have you been all my life? Tucked away in a small strip mall in South Beloit, inside a grocery store, is this little gem... Taqueria La Mexicana. WOW! The food is fantastic. My wife and I have dined here twice recently and really liked it. The service is excellent, the cuisine is well prepared and authentic. At our first visit I ordered a Lengua (tongue) Taco among others. The waitress surmized that I had an adventurous appetite so she told me that, although not on the menu due to availability, they sometimes offer Beef Brain and Beef Eye Tacos.
