“We went there tonight because of a transformer outage, BUT was the best decision we have made in a long time. Staff and people are very friendly and on the ball.. Food and drinks are phenomenal.. “Brisket bbq hamburger was excellent $14. Burger was actually made from fresh and even done to my order. Onion rings gs were great. Could have. Een cooked a little longer yet the onion was not mushy. Was very loud as they were very busy. They had dollar domestic cans. Not sure if only on Thursdays.“

“I just really love it here. There’s always a place for me and always a happy face to serve me. The food is great, everything is great and the friendly atmosphere means everything to me. I’m an older single female and usually come for the fish fry on Fridays but everything I’ve had here is very good. I never get any weird looks for being alone and female whether I sit at a table or the bar and that means the world to me because sometimes I just want to get away. I would give them more stars if I could because I’ve been here quite a few times now and the service has always been second to none and that’s very hard to find these days. Always a pleasure to have a bite to eat or just chill out!“

“They have this new cook I believe his name is BigRick, hands down our meals were best they have ever been not that they've ever been horrible before or anything just perfect the times we've got our dinners here since he has started in the kitchen. “Their burgers are juicy and delicious. There are so many burger toppings to pick from. Service was outstanding. They checked in multiple times. We enjoyed this place so much we stopped twice, once on the way to Chicago and again on the return home. I did have the t-bone steak. It was a nice cut and cooked to order.“

“Last night my husband and I had dinner at Poison Ivy. We had baked cod with brussel sprouts and cole slaw. The portion was large (we both left food on our plates!) and the food was delicious! The fish was amazing - flaky and perfectly cooked.“

“Local bar on prairie ave in Beloit WI. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I usually have a pineapple and Malibu, the waitress suggested trying rum haven which is a top shelf liquor which tasted very delicious with the pineapple. They also have slots, and a pool table. Very nice atmosphere, clean as well. They have food but I have not tried it yet.“

“I’d give Louie’s 10 stars if I could! Yesterday we had a group of 20+ there for a bridal shower/family dinner. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff was over the top accommodating to our every need. Service was super friendly and exceptional, as well as the food. The bride to be loved every single second and felt very special. They let us decorate and have all the time we needed. Thanks Louie’s for being fabulous hosts on this very special day❤️“
