“Family friendly restaurant. I had the half chicken dressing, greens. Chicken was not hot, and it was in a warmer, greens was okay, dressing was good, and everybody knows, cranberry sauce goes with dressing, the cup, was so small (1/2 teaspoon) extra one is quarter (they don't tell you when ask for it). pet peeve with restaurants stingy with condiments, food not being hot.Try it for yourself.“

“I can’t believe this place has been open all of this time and it’s my first time trying them out. Needless to say, it will NOT be the last. It’s extremely hard to find good soul food in the burbs, and I’m happy that I finally gave them a try. I had the individual meal, which comes with one meat & 2 sides and a cornbread muffin. I chose the fried wings (came with 4) and greens and Mac & cheese. Everything was delicious!! The wings were perfectly golden brown and fried just right. Crispy but still moist and delicious — not overly seasoned either, just right! (No feathers!! I can trust whoever is in that kitchen!) The sides were also good!! I asked for an additional side of yams to try but I wasn’t charged for that so I’ll just have to speak louder for that next time lol. You can tell there are a mix of cheeses used in the Mac (especially if you’re a cook yourself) and they work together in all of the best ways. Sometimes people make greens too acidic or too vinegar-ish… but not here! When I say everything was perfect, I mean it. There was a small wait (maybe 10 min) but it was hot and fresh, so I’ll take that any time. The cornbread muffins were delicious and moist.. not TOO sweet either. Lastly, the service — very pleasant all around. I went through the drive thru and was still greeted / treated with a smile. I LOVE that a soul food restaurant finally offers a drive thru!! Thank you for this lol — especially because parking is kind of limited with all of the other businesses right in that strip. I will have to try the fish and meatloaf next time, as well as maybe the cake! Overall 10/10 and I will go again.“

“First timer here and I was not disappointed. There was no wait to order. We ordered 3 meals. 2 of them were eaten before we pulled off. We had the salmon paired with the rice and mash.That yellow rice complimented the salmon perfectly. No complaints about anything on the plate. I devoured the catfish, mac and cheese, and candid yams. They were all favorites, cooked to perfection. I don't have the stomach room to try the lamb alfredo but if it's anything like the other 2 meals, I already know I'm going to love it. All in all, it was worth the drive from Hobart, it was worth every penny, ($79), and it was worth the wait time. Consider us friends because I will be back!“

“I stopped by this spot for breakfast on a weekday ☀🍽 and had a pretty nice experience overall. You can either grab your food to go or sit down and enjoy it there, which is convenient 👍. The place itself is on the smaller side, but it has a cozy and charming vibe 🪑✨.
The waitress was very friendly and helpful, and she gave some great recommendations, which I appreciated 😊. I decided to try the salmon croquettes - they weren’t bad at all, just a bit unexpected. They had a curry flavor that caught me off guard 🤔🌶, so it was more “different” than anything else.
On the other hand, the chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious 🧇🍗😍! Honestly, they tasted even better than they looked, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a cute little breakfast spot worth checking out! 💛“

“I ordered a Half Slab of Baby Back Ribs, 1/2 lb of Beef Brisket (burnt ends), and a small side of Mac and Cheese. The portions of meat were generous and well-seasoned, generously coated in BBQ sauce, making them quite delicious. However, the Mac and Cheese did not meet expectations and needs improvement. I was taken aback by the restaurant's size; it was quite small. As someone in a wheelchair, I had difficulty making a 360-degree turn due to the narrow waiting area. Despite this, the atmosphere was pleasant, filled with the enticing aroma of BBQ, and the chef was friendly and laid-back. Overall, I recommend Medley's BBQ and plan to return to try their Turkey Tips and Fried Chicken Skins.“

“The staff was very friendly and professional and the atmosphere was a great vibe. Definitely one to let loose and relax with no judgement. I went on karaoke Saturday and had a blast. I do not live near by, but will be back when I’m in town and need to let my hair down. The owner Ms. Kesha came by and introduce herself and has a great personality, very open and inviting.“

“Omg, this food was AMAZING! I’ll admit, I was a little nervous walking in because the lobby wasn’t very appealing—but don’t let that fool you. I got the 2-meat, 2-sides dinner, and wow! The meatloaf was tender and flavorful with rich brown gravy. The chicken thigh was juicy, and the chicken gravy was perfectly seasoned.
Now, that dressing—tasted like homemade stuffing, but I like stuffing if it’s cooked right and it was cooked perfectly! The sweet potatoes had just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly, this place has quickly made it to the top of my list of favorite spots to try again .
Try them for yourself—you won’t be disappointed!“
