“Family friendly restaurant. I had the half chicken dressing, greens. Chicken was not hot, and it was in a warmer, greens was okay, dressing was good, and everybody knows, cranberry sauce goes with dressing, the cup, was so small (1/2 teaspoon) extra one is quarter (they don't tell you when ask for it). pet peeve with restaurants stingy with condiments, food not being hot.Try it for yourself.“

“I can’t believe this place has been open all of this time and it’s my first time trying them out. Needless to say, it will NOT be the last. It’s extremely hard to find good soul food in the burbs, and I’m happy that I finally gave them a try. I had the individual meal, which comes with one meat & 2 sides and a cornbread muffin. I chose the fried wings (came with 4) and greens and Mac & cheese. Everything was delicious!! The wings were perfectly golden brown and fried just right. Crispy but still moist and delicious — not overly seasoned either, just right! (No feathers!! I can trust whoever is in that kitchen!) The sides were also good!! I asked for an additional side of yams to try but I wasn’t charged for that so I’ll just have to speak louder for that next time lol. You can tell there are a mix of cheeses used in the Mac (especially if you’re a cook yourself) and they work together in all of the best ways. Sometimes people make greens too acidic or too vinegar-ish… but not here! When I say everything was perfect, I mean it. There was a small wait (maybe 10 min) but it was hot and fresh, so I’ll take that any time. The cornbread muffins were delicious and moist.. not TOO sweet either. Lastly, the service — very pleasant all around. I went through the drive thru and was still greeted / treated with a smile. I LOVE that a soul food restaurant finally offers a drive thru!! Thank you for this lol — especially because parking is kind of limited with all of the other businesses right in that strip. I will have to try the fish and meatloaf next time, as well as maybe the cake! Overall 10/10 and I will go again.“

“Absolutely the best food and customer service on the south suburbs. I had a party of 11. We sat down at a table immediately, the waitress took our drink order and then food order. “I met my cousins there from out of town and the food was delicious!!! I ordered salmon crockets, rice, scrambled eggs and toast. I finished every bite. The service was great. We didn’t even notice how long it took for the food to come out because we were catching up. I arrived late but my food arrived shortly after my guests. So we were able to dine together. The owner Felicia came out and greeted us. We were very pleased with the food and service.“

“I ordered a Half Slab of Baby Back Ribs, 1/2 lb of Beef Brisket (burnt ends), and a small side of Mac and Cheese. The portions of meat were generous and well-seasoned, generously coated in BBQ sauce, making them quite delicious. However, the Mac and Cheese did not meet expectations and needs improvement. I was taken aback by the restaurant's size; it was quite small. As someone in a wheelchair, I had difficulty making a 360-degree turn due to the narrow waiting area. Despite this, the atmosphere was pleasant, filled with the enticing aroma of BBQ, and the chef was friendly and laid-back. Overall, I recommend Medley's BBQ and plan to return to try their Turkey Tips and Fried Chicken Skins.“

“The staff was very friendly and professional and the atmosphere was a great vibe. Definitely one to let loose and relax with no judgement. I went on karaoke Saturday and had a blast. I do not live near by, but will be back when I’m in town and need to let my hair down. The owner Ms. Kesha came by and introduce herself and has a great personality, very open and inviting.“

She handled about 8-10 customers taking orders, cooking food, chopping up rib tips, slicing cake, grilling fish, boxing food...plus more! I was so impressed! She was AMAZING! “This establishment is very small, you order to take your food to go. The name says it all. The owner can definitely cook her butt off. She has different protein choices for certain days & her sides are really good too. My family loves her mac-n-cheese, sweet potatoes, greens, rice & gravy. Only downfall is no cornbread muffins.“
