“I went in this morning and had a great breakfast! I misunderstood an ad about them having B&G all day when it wasn't supposed to be until 10, but someone from the kitchen came up and said she'd make it for me anyway! The gravy was SO good, I ate it up quick!! Got a chai latte too and it was delicious as well. Such great customer service and just a cute place. It's near my work, so I'm going to try and go more to support them!“

““Go ahead and scoot on up!”
Needing a coffee on a 4 hour drive to Shawnee National Forest, we stopped at Scooter’s to survive our early drive. It’s a drive-thru only coffeehouse so I strongly debated even writing a blog post for it but in my quest to visit all the coffee places, I knew I had to make the concession and experience it from the drive-thru lane and passenger seat of Emily’s car.
They had an Americano so… you can bet that’s exactly what I ordered and it did not disappoint. I love a strong bitter Americano and a lot of places err on the side of making it accessible and enjoyable. This was full on the style I like and if there was one around where I live, I would be getting my Americano drinks there instead of making my usual Dunkin’ run when I treat myself. I did try the concoction Emily tried and we both agreed that it was missing a certain something. Not that it was bad but that it just lacked that thing to make it magical.
But… the best part of Scooter’s is the opening line of this blog. When we placed our order, the person told us to ‘Go ahead and scoot on up’. Maybe it was the 4 hours of sleep I got. Maybe it’s my sometimes simple and childish-like humor. Maybe it’s just a great line. But it had me cracking up for a few minutes.
Scooter’s, you have a new loyal fan if you ever open up a place near me.“

“I won’t lie and pretend I order all those triple mocha caramel with almond milk and two pumps of this or that because to be honest I wouldn’t remember half those items but I do enjoy a nice cup of coffee. With that said I am disappointed in a salted caramel coffee drink I had. There was no caramel taste and to me it was bitter. I was also taken back a little on paying over $7 for a large cup. Something told me to go to Starbucks and get my normal caramel brûlée crème steamer but I just had to try Scooters that day.
I honestly do not think I’ll be a returning customer at least not til it’s warmer out so I can try a Frappuccino and that’s only because for downloading the app I’ll save $2. Lol
The young lady at the drive thru window was sweet and bubbly and obviously enjoyed her job or faked it well.
They do have $1 items so if you haven’t tried Scooters and don’t want or have much to spend you could start there.“
“this place has such a fun and welcoming environment. There are games and coloring sheets, a children's play area and books! Plus an extremely cozy variety of seating. The teas are organic and delicious! The food, smoothies and coffee also look amazing! I can't wait to go back!“

“Great branch with friendly and courteous baristas.
It's a pity that I am from California and only been here once. It's my grandmother's hometown and I fell in love with this branch right away.
Hopefully I will have a chance to visit more often in the future.“

“They are convenient for a quick coffee run, but like all coffee shops like Starbucks they can be expensive.“
“Zombie Killer cider was amazing, hands down best cider I've had! Food was excellent, as was the service. They were super busy and the stand in line to order seems less efficient but it won't stop us from coming in if we are passing through Springfield. Definitely impressed and definitely recommend.“

“The Hy-Vee Caribou is a wonderful place to go. They have the nicest people and when it comes to me using my app they are always so helpful because there are times I just totally don’t remember to use it and then I do and then I can’t figure it out. But they are always so nice about everything and so helpful. The drinks are great. I love the turtle mocha and the funny part is I’m not a coffee person, but I really enjoy that drink. For those of you who have been to the Caribou Hy-Vee in Springfield Illinois you know what a great place it is and those of you who haven’t you need to give it a try. You will not be disappointed .“

“I popped in this cute place after work hoping to get some non-alcoholic beverages for a gathering coming up. Not only were they able to do that, but they are handling my charcuterie and vegetable trays! I had some yummy peach black tea and a scrumptious piece of chocolate cake while I perused all the loose leaf teas available. Their selection is amazing! They were so helpful, kind, knowledgeable and affordable-- I'll definitely be going back! ☆☆☆☆☆“

“We ordered 3 banana splits and they were the best ever. Their ice cream is perfect. Large servings. Service is very kind and patient as none if the spits were traditional. Every one different toppings and ice creams. The coffee is also top shelf.“

“HAE'S is so polished that you wouldn't guess it is a locally owned business. This was my first visit and will definitely go back. My friend wanted someplace where we could sit, so a drive-thru coffee was out. There's 5 or 6 good sized tables. They have a really nice drink menu of fun flavor combinations. You should go for that alone. But the sweets were good too. We ordered a big cookie and piece of butter cake, which were excellent. And I'm a butter cake snob! There was a hodge-podge of a selection of sweets, which may suggest the selections change rapidly. I personally like that set up when there's often new choices. Best surprise was the staff were very friendly and personable. From my experience, I'd bet it partially comes from being part of a locally owned community business. SHOP LOCAL!
Parking: There's plenty of parking because it is in a strip of businesses.
Wheelchair accessibility: There appeared to be sufficient parking for wheelchair users & others who require it. Building and indoor tables are sufficiently accessible.“
“Huge shoutout to Hannah! Saved my morning yesterday! Ordered through the app and somehow my favorite location got changed and sent my order to the wrong store. She whipped me up and new cold brew and sammy and I was out the door! Thank you so much Hannah!“

“Brezie’s is the best. Something new to try each time. Friendly staff. Great cozy atmosphere. And if you’re lucky Bree’s kids will be there to bring that family atmosphere. Highly recommend. Have had larger gatherings (10-15 people) and gone in solo and the experience is great every time. 5 stars. Great drinks. Fantastic food (love the baked potatos). Give it a try!“
