My husband went inside and ordered 12 steak tacos on Corn tortillas and we received the food and went to our hotel (traveling from Mississippi) anyways. When we opened our food the tacos had flour shells instead of corn and we were so tired from traveling that we each just ate 3 out the others in the fridge and went to sleep. Upon waking I checked our bank account and almost woke everyone in the hotel up! We were charged over $90 for 12 steak tacos and I want to know why! They didn't have the correct shells, gold dust or diamonds in them. After seeing this charge, I read more of the reviews and see this is a common thing! We will be disputing this. I'm also upset with my husband who didn't question this ridiculous amount when he was in the establishment! We usually spend $50-60 max at other restaurants for 12 Tacos, this was just ridiculous. Get your receipts from this place and start disputing unreasonable charges, maybe they'll stop being ridiculous!

INCREDIBLE. This is some of the finest Mexican cuisine the south of Illinois has to offer. Plump, toothsome morsels of Hispanic food topped perfectly!!! I watch the Food Network on cable so know a thing or two about authentic Mexican food.

The worst "mexican" food I have ever tried, overcooked rice, watery beans, no taste at all, servers don't have a clue about the service, overpriced food, the food presentation is lame and not very appealing.

The food is so gross I couldn't even eat it. And the price is ridiculous because you're paying for garbage. The breading was so thick,and hardly anything on the inside of the tamales the tacos were soggy instead of a being crunchy. The burritos were only made with hamburger. No cheese on anything, lettuce or tomato or onion. No sour cream or guacamole. Terrible place

This place is horrible! We've been here several times and every time it's been bad. This time we went was was the absolute worst as I got food poisoning this time. I should've know to get up and leave when our salsa and cheese bowls came out dIrtysh. and my husbands food wasn't even the right order and they kept trying to give it to him. We won't be back!!!! They need to fix this place or close down.

To begin, I tried to order a margarita when asked what drink I'd like. I couldn't get a reply when I asked what brands of tequila they had. I finally decided a small one wouldn't be bad, whatever they had. It might have been decent if there had been any discernible tequila in it. Ordered the poblano pepper stuffed with shrimp. What came was barely recognizable. There was green and some breading, but falling apart slimy, under a ton of cheese sauce. The refried beans were watered down and the side of vegetables was frozen broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, hardly Mexican veggies. A side of pico on lettuce would have been better. I picked out the shrimp and left the rest. I've been to Mexico several times, love the cuisine. This was beyond disappointing. Oh and never got the water I asked for either.
