“Update:I DONT NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! high turnover on staff. every month there are new bartenders. Even when they over-serve an aggressive customer who then assaults you, they will blame you. They have cameras but will believe gossip instead. Numerous people have been banned for being a victim of assault. Bartenders have been fired for being friends of the victim. Bartenders have been fired for calling in because they had to take their dog into the emergency animal hospital. The day after I was assaulted and my glasses broke, I was lectured and blamed by the OWNER for causing another OVERSERVED CUSTOMER to assault me. If you come don’t talk and leave before people are overserved! Historic General store from 1870.In 1940, it transitioned into the great American rural tavern it is today. It’s s what Texas Roadhouse was before they sold out. No better authentic Tavern food around. Many bars, taverns, roadhouses, pubs, come and go, but there is a reason BUCKHART TAVERN had lasted 154 years. Great Beer, Great Food, Great Service, and Great People!“

“My sister and I recently drove from Pittsburgh to visit our Mom and Aunt Betty in Springfield. We stopped by Jamie’s Route 66 for some takeout pizza. Our Mom and Aunt loved it They aren’t mobile so getting out is difficult. My sister called to make a special request to celebrate my aunt’s 100th birthday. Jamie took them pizza personally. My aunt and mom can’t stop talking about Jamie and her special delivery. Thank you so much!!!! You made their day and ours.“

“It was nice and small bar but the drinks were to weak for me and the shots were to small for the price. The bartender was nice and fast and the restroom was well stocked and clean. I will be back to try this bar again to leave another reply.“
“Longstanding North end tavern. Great place to get a cold beer and hot Butch's pizza. Shoot some pool or fling darts. Friendly bartenders and welcoming locals. Happy hour as well as daily deals. Can't beat the prices. Make sure to check out the bar it's a beauty.“

“Was a great hall for a smaller wedding party. Very clean and has a playground for the kids. Easy access to the bar which some used. Clean handicap accessible restrooms which I appreciate due to using a wheelchair because of a broken leg. Beautiful Memorial space in in front honoring veterans.“

“This was my first time here for a few drinks with friends. It's a nice bar with the best bartender ever. Shout out to Emily. I hope I remember her right! She was very professional and had excellent customer service!
Because of her, I will make sure to visit whenever I am in town! It's the best old-fashioned! We enjoyed the jukebox, danced, and enjoyed the night. I will recommend it.

“was there for a private birthday brunch on a sunday...it's small but cute...there is even an original pay phone booth which u never see anymore (giving my age away, lol)...drinks were nice...food was wonderful (fried chicken wings, waffles, eggs, grits)...had a nice time!“

“We very much enjoyed dining here! The staff are so friendly and the food is exceptional! I will be glad to return and eat again. We had both dessert options available, the cheesecake and brownie sundae (pictured) which were sooo good! Also, I highly recommend the horseshoe (available with different meat options) it was a hit. Everyone at my table was eating it! And the wings, mouth watering and delicious! I could go on and on but I'll stop here. Go and try it for yourself!

“I'm from Wisconsin and this is truly one of the most friendly and comfortable bars I've ever been in. Bartenders are very attentive especially Dee Rees. You guys rock!!! Even though the brewers or packers will rarely be seen on tv.?“
