“First time and everything was great. I'm a HUGE burger snob after owning my own burger place and these made the cut as one of the best I've had. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were better than I expected. So many great options it was hard to choose but what we had was awesome. Now to get back more often to try even more.“

“Great food! Awesome little restaurant bar in Peru, IL....nestled near the Illinois river and right by the train tracks! Margaritas were $10 Wednesday night! AND....they were sooo good!!!! I had coconut shrimp. Very good.Always great specials. Wonderful attentive staff! Can't beat this place!!!“

“We stopped in Oglesby for the night as we traveled from Wis to Florida. ZomNye't is one of the nicest bartenders we've ever met. So friendly and efficient too. She constantly scans the bar for anyone needing service. The prices are great, the place is clean and free pool and jukebox the night we were there. They do not have food ( frozen pizza only) so we went across the street for great Mexican and ended up going back to Claudette's for an after dinner drink. Can't wait to stop next time we are passing through.“

“The food is 5 stars. The service is 5 stars. The ambiance with a cool sports bar vibe is 5 stars. My wife and I dined in at the bar on a Monday afternoon. The bartender provided good service! I ordered a cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese with fries. My wife ordered a cheeseburger with American cheese and fries. My wife had a sprite to drink and I had a water. The soda is 1 dollar!! Both our burgers were fantastic, tasty, and juicy! The burgers are 1/2 lb burgers! The frozen fries here are awesome ! We loved our lunch and we will be back!“

However, this is not the restaurant you're stuck with because of location it's the restaurant you're lucky to have in your area. The Italian beef is amazing! the kaddywampus burger is huge and you will probably have to ask for a to-go box. I have also tried their cheeseburger wrap which is everything you could want in wrap and more. When it comes to granville's cuisine this is the go-to. The people who own this restaurant tavern have some of the most friendliest personalities you could ever meet.“
